I stay away from pvp at this point because of hackers, but I can imagine someone using cheats to take down other cheaters or just compete at this point with them, or the sweats. Although I would never, I wouldn't even want to put the effort into learning and being a scumbag. Pvp is going to die down at this rate, unless they innovate the anticheat systems.
Just imagine yourself in a cheater's gameplay, u can play God in a fvcking game with cheat(would u not try to play God in real life given the chance?)....not saying u should cheat or u will cheat. Even tho it's all because of cheats u will definitely gain a better experience than normal but we normal people don't do cheats even for fun cuz our accounts r too valuable for us to leave it on luck.

From what I've heard though, someone has been working on a system to auto vote bots out, and they have a database of known cheaters

The cheats now are nothing compared to back then. Getting into a game where you die to someone with aimbot sucks but you leave and move on, back then they’d keep you in the lobby not allowing you to leave and reset stats, constantly kill you, and spam messages on your screen, and then either the lobby closed or you closed the game just to leave. Not to mention the constant ddos attacks or booting offline that happened constantly.
The difference between then and now is that before cheaters were viewed as a detriment to the game. Now they are viewed as the best marketing strategies.
Meanwhile cheaters on COD zombies: -Giving everyone all perks, infinite ammo, all the weapons etc -Hacking their game to give them infinite liquid divinium
Back when we use to play Counter Strike, cheating was just for trolling, as it was so easy to cheat and if you get caught, the admin turns you into a chicken 😭 ahhh the good all days of gaming and hacking

The solution is serious legal action against getting caught. People will be way less likely to cheat if it leads to jail time and a criminal record. South Korea already does this
Also, it would help if Call of Duty gets rid of Sbr and msr. So that people don’t feel don’t need to use some kind of hack because otherwise they can’t have fun and be good.
Actually back in bo2 the most common forms of cheating were jitter mods to shoot semi automatic weapons faster, paradox mod menus,(paradox made you be able to mod without a jailbroken console) and jiggy mod menus which allowed cheaters to give their friends in the lobby or randoms mods as well

I got 11 people confirmed banned in the last 2 weeks man . Its like almost every game i run into at least 1 cheater . I only report BLATANT cheaters too . I probably missed so many .
It’s not too big to defeat, it’s that the company isn’t willing to put the money forward required to combat it. Trust me, if given enough resources, you can absolutely hire a team of engineers that can stop the vast majority of cheats and exploits.
