Grew up in central Florida and this team made this run when I was 12. It was such an amazing experience to watch this team which is still my favorite to this day. I got to go to game 1 and even though we lost, for a moment the rays were the center of the sports world and I’ll cherish that forever.

An outdoor stadium wouldn't work here. Tampa Bay has a summer monsoon and there are thunderstorms every other day on top of clouds of mosquitoes. If baseball were a winter sport it would be a different story.
