Love your work Crimson engine but i'm not sure if that setup was the best. As relooking at the footage, there seems to be a heavy shadow on top of your head. If the scene was taking place in the middle of a parking lot or even a park. What would motivate to cast a shadow light that on your head. You even move around showcasing it to be specific. just saying.
Motivation is overrated unless it's distracting from the story, in my experience.
Right on.
Love it - I may try this over the weekend.
Looks amazing!
Fantastic!
Really interesting to see your process of recreating the scene 👍
excellent...thank you...
Really rly dig it. Nice to hear about your experience at the park and to see the film's bts. In your setup, id say the flag was a hair too close. Maybe a bigger black flag, further away would have cut light without casting its own shadow on the top of your hair.
This is wild, 3 hours ago I was saying its time for a video from Rubidium .
Aha! As a complete video know-nothing beginner - I can use my Canon 135mm F/2 with its miraculous bokeh for interviews. Who'd have known? Thanks for the ideas.
Thank you for this great video.
Cool lighting and set up info. But now we are dying to hear the dialog of you talking to yourself :)
"man it's cold" ;)
@@Crimsonengine Colder than the Blue mountains!
Bravo...I'll try
I think your aperture may have been too opened...still very nice though
