They were amazing! And it is important for aces to remember that it is okay to not want sex. Do what is right for you, and be honest with your partner.
The ace/aro conversation made my heart full because my girlfriend is ace (btw i'm a gay female) and we had a conversation about what she was comfortable with doing at the beginning of the relationship and we aren't physical other than the occasional kiss and honestly i'm perfectly fine with it because she's comfortable and happy with it and we are still going strong! (Almost 15 months!!!) She's so lovely and i love her!! Happy pride, even tho it's over pride for ones self and others never ends! Love yourself and others!!!!!!!
I'm personally aro ace but at a more extreme point to where the thought physically gross me out and those emotions don't click for me it makes me happy to see others who are like me as it makes me feel like i'm not faking

But Aspec identities should be talked about and discussed more, because so many younger teens and young adults get into physical relationships that they may not be entirely comfortable with but y'know, "sex is the norm!" or whatever. It's very frustrating, for me at least (and I'm not even Ace!!! I am the biggest Pansexual out there!!), so I can't imagine how frustrating it is for actual Aspec people.

It's really great seeing other people that I look up to that are demisexual as well because you don't see demisexuality as much in modern media as you see other sexual identities on the spectrum. I was wondering that too! I’m asexual and have been researching a lot about LGBTQ+ (hi welcome to Christian households) because I didn’t understand it. That’s the whole reason I have learned what I have. Watching this has shown that there isn’t just oppression and all the bad.

I feel so validated hearing about Joan’s and Talyn’s experience. I am also non-binary and on the ace spectrum. For the longest time, I just tried to have relationships and be intimate with people just because it was what I thought society expected me to do. I wasn’t ready and I hated it and I hurt myself and other people because of it. At one point, I thought I was going to be alone the rest of my life, because I felt like no one really understood me. Just lately, I found someone I really like and care about. They’re the most wonderful being and they’re also on the ace spectrum. We just started pursuing a relationship, it’s all very new but I couldn’t be more happy. I used to think being trans was so alien, but when my girlfriend taught me that it's totally normal, it really changed my life

In the last Q & GAY video, I thought I was completely trans, but when everyone was talking, I realized that I'm transgender non-binary.

I’m asexual, and I used to have a girlfriend who always wanted to be intimate but I could never tell her I wasn’t comfortable with all that, so we ended it anyway because she thought I was just always so against everything for no reason.
_so yeah it’s very important to tell them if you aren’t comfortable, i was a dummy and missed that step_
all the ace talk helped me so much, I have issues coming to terms with the fact that waiting is okay and this helped a ton. love you all keep doing what you are doing. (side note: I didn't know Joan And Talyn were together cUTE)

We knew each other in kindergarten and went to the same school from K-9 and we got close in grade 6-9 then we drifted apart once high school came.
In those three years of getting close and becoming besties, i found out i was bisexual and i was falling for her.... spoiler alert, shes straight

I was really happy that aspecs were brought because I am biromantic asexual and sometimes get excluded or forgotten about.
You see, I love this. Best way to deal with this. They felt they didn't include what was necessary, and they just dealt with this without making to much of a big deal. Plus I'm happy to get more gaydy bunch content

I feel so validated hearing about Joan’s and Talyn’s experience. I am also non-binary and on the ace spectrum. For the longest time, I just tried to have relationships and be intimate with people just because it was what I thought society expected me to do. I wasn’t ready and I hated it and I hurt myself and other people because of it. At one point, I thought I was going to be alone the rest of my life, because I felt like no one really understood me. Just lately, I found someone I really like and care about. They’re the most wonderful being and they’re also on the ace spectrum. We just started pursuing a relationship, it’s all very new but I couldn’t be more happy. Seeing another non binary, ace spec couple being happy and perfectly comfortable with who they are made my heart flutter and makes me hope for the future. Thank you ❤️ -Zal
