What to do when anxiety has a hold and you just can't let... it... leave? Obviously, I deal with that quite a bit, and this evening, I turn to my number one distraction from the plagues of life: movies! My Sides are mostly on board with this... mostly. Are distractions like these helpful in anxiety-ridden situations like these?

It's been years since I first saw this and Roman saying: "Eh, we're all gossipy bitches sometimes." With Logan just nodding in agreement is still my favorite part.

I really like how they're actually engaging with and addressing Virgil's runaway anxious thoughts. Even though they're distressing, they're worth discussing, and they take the time to make sure he feels understood rather than just dismissed out of hand. It's really nice that they recognize that he's saying these things not just to make Thomas nervous about them, but because HE'S nervous about them too.

it's interesting to see how Virgil has shifted from *being* anxiety, to *having* anxiety, in a way. I've noticed that it seems like he feels the anxiety himself and Thomas just feels it as an after-effect because Virgil is a part of him, rather than him just eliciting it, as time goes on. it's nice because I can recognize a lot of myself in him when he goes on anxious tirades, and it's kind of comforting, in a way.

There's so many prinxiety shippers in the comments talking about Roman saying his way of showing his love (of the film) was nitpicking, yet I haven't seen anybody bring up the fact that that clearly WASN'T how he treated his beloved Disney movies UNTIL that episode about the dark side of Disney where he learnt FROM VIRGIL that a different way of enjoying the films is to change your perspective and see the ironic parts, the flaws, the unintended lessons etc

I love the inclusion of the 5 senses excersise that helps for preventing a panic attack. That is a great way to spread awareness for that method, which doesnt work for everyone, but it does work for some, and it isnt as well known as it should be.
