I swear to God, nothing brings out jealousy in a guy more than a big, performance boat. Even a Lingenfelter 'Vette wouldn't make people this crazy. I don't blame you guys, I'm also envious of offshore boats. Only difference is, I've got the balls to admit it.

That boat is awesome. I have a good friend that is a outdrive specialist and been crew chief for several teams. He worked for years with fountain and built the engines for on of the world record v bottoms before he went to a cat team. I was lucky enough to get to ride and help him test run a few and this video is awesome ,but the feeling inside that canopy is unlike anything else! scary fun!!!

Here's an idea: Instead of spending more $ on fast boats, helicopter rentals, designer sunglasses, and Big Macs, how about forking over for a decent video camera to replace the one this was shot with, which appears to be a 1985 VHS Camcorder? Hard to tell which pixel was the boat at times.

This is a world-class video. The scenery is beautiful, the boat is gorgeous, and the videography is fantastic. Why don't guys just admit it when they are jealous? Why make stupid-boy comments against the driver/navigator? If you are jealous or envious, just man-up and admit it. It's no big deal, you're jealous, I don't blame ya'.

I love watching the videos of the boats in action.I would love to hear them to instead of the totally unnecessary music. Most of the music is bloody awful, why dont you people ever learn, enthusiasts want the sound and the sight, the music takes away any pleasure of watching the video.

I never saw it go faster than the helicopter and that helicopter can't do 200.

great vid dude. not sure why how people can get into a fight over something like boat racing. btw, came from a family of four living on a tarten 37 sloop back in the 80s. lived my first 20 years on that boat. sailed it from San Fran. to Cabo and up the sea of cortez for 2 years by the time I was 14. raced flying dutchmens, hobie cats and fireballs til my 20's. now Im on land doin jeeps. got some gopro vids of us jeepin in baja on my page. great vid, dont let the haters hate!

You must have some fun with this machine. We just don't get boats like this in New Zealand they would be awesome to see them in full flight. Fastest boats here about 120mph.

We're actually a family of 5 living on a sailboat shooting video on the crazy stuff we find on our adventure. I do produce videos professionally for brands and TV as a freelancer from our boat... this is how we make a meager living. Planning an adventure TV, web and doc sailing from the top of the world to the bottom beginning in september, so hoping for huge support from our friends and fans.

Again, this is just another video of two enthusiasts posing with their fast boat, with a background soundtrack becoming a total disturbance and not letting any enthusiast watching this, to get to hear the noise the boat makes. That's what everyone's interested in.
When any member of the pod takes it upon themselves to ride anything over the water at 200 mph earns my waterman wings. Land lubbers don't have a clue how something doing 200 mph screws up, these guy would be the first to witness what happens. Given them a little respect. I got a ride on the USS Scorpion which was playing in a part of the world we never were able to so deeply penetrate and know so little about. Watermen deserve respect.

Love surface drive rooster tails. Nice boat, not sure how competitive team is but looks and runs great. A lot of sour grapes on here. Offshore racing always has been a wealthy man's sport. You would cut your hand on those props w/o gloves.
Its a double turbine engine , 2008 Mystic from Geico Racing did a 210 mph record whit it.
