Thank you for this video, it helped a lot (in addition to sourcing other vids). The lighting unit was so hard to remove, but I eventually got it. Thankfully it just seems like my bulbs are the fault and not the wire connector.

Glad it was helpful. As for the audio - do you get any light/message on dashboard? I never had issue with audio - but heads there it is common issue.
@@NewRoad no .. no message.. there is power to the radio on the dashboard however no audio.no Bluetooth.. I have a 2013 320i

Great tutorial…. For some reason when I changed the blown bulb and the bulb that was still good both bulbs it would not work. However, when I changed only the bad bulb, it worked. Can anyone give any insight on this??

Quick question; I had errors for both the left turn signal and brake light so I replaced them with the help of this video. The error light is still on, do I need to reset it or could it be another problem? Thanks
What error do you get? Did your lights went off and you had to replace both?
Errors I got are Rear left turn signal malfunction and Left brake malfunction. I replaced each bulb but the errors are still on. I saw in another post that there is a problematic ground wire so maybe that’s my problem. Thanks
The lights seem to work fine and the old bulbs didn’t look like they had gone bad
Are both bulbs supposed to come out the same way? One of mine won’t seem to come out.

And if it still doesnt work, what else could it be? I replaced the bulbs, the socket, and the wire plug and my tail lamp still does not work. My break and signal lights do work but not the regular lamp tail light. Any ideas?
The replacement lens will run you about $220 at O'Reilly's, btw.

I wonder why the the lect side of the lamp is loose. The right side still has a, latch on. Need to know how to remove n check.

Try to clean connectors and reinstall bulb
2015 f30 and I’ve replaced the light now every time I hit the break it dings tail light malfunction. There is not melted pieces and the breaks work so does anyone have an idea of what it could be
Never, heard of such problem. Try to disconnect lights and connect again.
