My recommendation is to keep your eye on other dealerships that might have new stock just sitting around. I had an mg5 on order, but found one sitting around at Luscombe MG that I can pick up straight away, found it by keeping my eye on autotrader.
Seems like a great budget EV. The interior looks decent for the price and the charging curve/speed is excellent for its price. I wish we could get some of the Chinese-made EVs in the US, but so far we haven’t gotten any. I fear that it is because there is such an anti-Chinese sentiment among some of the “less educated” folks here in the US (the same who called COVID the China virus, like our former president 🙄). They probably aren’t the type to get an EV anyway, but might be ruining it for the rest of us.
The dimension of the tires on the car is smaller than Swedish Spec.. I have the 2022 model Blue 72kwh Luxury and I got it With 215/55R17 that is 3% bigger than you 215/50R17 Tires... That accounts for the most of the error in the reported distance!

No, model 3 is way more expensive, in the UK at least. model 3 starts at £42k, the long range performance version is £58k. MG ZS is £33k for the best model, so this is a budget EV.
For some reason, I'm not finding it too exciting. I was expecting more charging speed with that battery. At least 120kW. We are at the end of 2022 and I still see EVs charging at those speeds for that price... It's time for these companies to be a little more ambitious in my opinion.
You are not getting it. My 2022 Model 3 RWD is doing 85kw at supercharge. And that is prretty much as fast as the car can take. Consider the price difference, Tesla engineer is likely start to concern. And engineers from the big 3 are likely shaking in their boots right now.
6:20 just bonkers that they cap the energy usage reporting. Misleading the customer, should be illegal. It's lying right? Can lead to problems too - maybe something is wrong with the car, some breaks are stuck or something and you spend 60kwh and soon wheels catch flames - but you dont see more than 30kwh used. I guess they do not HAVE TO show anything, but showing false information should be illegal.
Power consumption won't lead to that drama 😂 and to the right it shows the percentage of max power output which is more relevant to what's got you bothered.
For 1000 euros less, the mg4 64kWh will do at least 1hour less on 1000km challenge! Average charging power +130kW on 10%-50%, and 10-15% less comsumption at 120km/h. The MG4 is the king under 40k.

You can do that trick with a banana too, as well as the burger and baguette! I learnt that 50yrs ago from the musician/comedian Victor Borge in his famous shows ... although he was Danish not Norwegian. 🍌😁😂😂🍌
MG Pilot might be ok on a motorway/dual carriage way, but I disagree everywhere else. I'd actually say it was dangerous on single carriage ways - plenty of times it will erratically grab the wheel and pitch you towards an oncoming car in order to avoid you steering towards the road edge. It's awful. Source: My 51kwh facelift MG ZS EV.
The worst electric car I know. I’ve driven now 45k kilometers with it and will never buy an MG anymore…….. The software is rubbish, driving aids are undrivable….. Range is insufficient for “long range”…… No heat pump…… App makes contact with central server instead of the car, and is at many times unreachable…… There is no built in timer for pre-heating…… And so on, and so on……

Be patient, I've waited 12 months and 22 days and will get it tomorrow.

Do you have the "virtual boombox" activated in settings? It gave me some more deep bass.
