Vincent, you do not have to be the executor if you do not want that position. Once someone passes, you can refuse the executorship. In that case, the court will appoint another individual and all assets will go into the estate and be divided between you. Then you can purchase whatever property you want to buy. (Both houses would go into the estate unless it is written in the will.) The bottom line is - this is your parents' money and property and they get to decide what to do with THEIR property. POA just lasts as long as both parents are alive, so do your best to get them in front of an attorney NOW. Also, the entire will does not have to be redone - a codicil can be added.
This is the first year I have voted early. But as I am older, I know so many things can come up - illness, a car fender bender, weather, lines too long for me to stand in, etc. But I did like going to a real polling place with the same machines that we have "on the day" rather than depending on paper. The US Postal Service in our area is just so undependable - we have gotten Easter cards that were mailed on time around Thanksgiving or Christmas! I mail almost nothing, certainly no bills that need to arrive on time!
Is anyone else tired of listening to people who have a lot of money but have a hard time spending it? That's not a question for a call-in radio show; it's a question for a therapist. Julie, if you have $4 million, you can afford therapy for you and your husband.
Cameron, realize that he is going to have to pay taxes on the gift. If he can't find a good job now, is he reliable enough to make something of his life? The debt might be a tool to motivate him to do better so he can pay it off. You are enabling.
Oh, now we're back to the credit card and credit score discussion. There will never be agreement on this. But manual underwriting is NOT as easy in today's world as George indicates. Try and do it... you'll see.
First of all - love this show! But please quit calling women "kiddo". I it condescending. Dave does it. Ken just did it. I am 59 years old and getting called "kiddo" is not respectable.
If I tell you my name is Elizabeth then you call me Elizabeth not Liz or Beth or sweetheart or honey. People actually get offended when I correct them. It's my name. I find it disrespectful to change my name.
@@elizabethjrich4415 Haha! Me, too - I'm also Elizabeth and have been called Liz, Liz Ann (my middle name), Betty (which people presume is the nickname), Betty Ann, Lizzie. I now realize people just won't say a four-syllable name! And I've had so many young people in drive-through lines ask me how to spell it that even I have resorted to calling myself Liz just to move things along.🤣
The first call sounded like dragon's den. "For these reasons I'm out". Haha
Yay my favorite pair 👏👏🔥

Watching from Europe this is always a "down to earth moment". Thanks for the great advice :)
he won't do a will but you think he will combine finances?

Yes, Carlos, pay off your debt before you make a move to something else.

It’s
Better than lady 😂
It all depends on the intent. They could definitely do without all the "you people" as well but let's not be overly sensitive
