After I completed the job I thought about that. While it was up in the air I wish I would have checked that more thoroughly. Next time I will. If that is solid and can be used as the center front jack point that would be great. I’ll make sure to update that when I change the oil but that will be a few months. Thank you for the comment.
@@PaulNaylor3 i have to change my tyres next weeks and will give it a try, maybe:) it's really not looking solid with the perforated steel, but on both sides are also bolts. thank you anyway! i will let you know if i bent the crossmember😄
just put mine up on jack stands today and used the perforated spot in the front to lift the vehicle front from the center. Worked like a charm!

why don't use the front crossmember, in the middle? the "perforated" spot? mazda says thats the jack point.. i know, looks strange but should work
