I know my hair looks super defined. This was a great wash and go. But the activator, in my opinion was a pointless product. I could’ve gotten this look with Wetline extreme ALONE lol. Since the activator wasn’t moisturizing to my hair at all, this wash and go was dry/crunchy the entire time I wore it. It’s a no for me. Comment below your experience!

Beautiful results young lady. I myself transition last year during Covid-19. I didn't do the big chop because I had enough new growth and my natural hair already had a good curl pattern. So I told my hair dresser that if I made it a year without a perm then I go natural. I kept my hair braided until I had a good amount of natural growth. So far I haven't had not one ounce of regret. Oh! By the way your hair is popping young lady.

Lots of reviews say just like I do, the activator feels like it is doing nothing. I realize it helps with the gel not drying my hair and that is something big.

I think we allllll tried this when faye put us on to it. I did it on my channel as well with eco and i think by itself. I wldnt purchase it again but it was fun to try.

@@HazelGoddesss yes I think so too. Maybe it plumps the curls beforehand..the wetline definitely added the definition
I love Carefree curl activator in the yellow bottle. I would have used it on its own to see if it worked.

Could it be that today's jheri curl activator gel doesn't work as good as the stuff we had in the 80's? I'm willing to bet it's not the same. The old stuff was phenomenal

I have had success with some of these curl activator gels but I hate the way they smell and they are way too sticky. I use IC Fantasia instead. Same kind of thing but isn't sticky and no terrible smell.
The Hawaiian silky curl activator right now is my top favorite. I did a video on it if you haven’t watched already. Now that alone gives me moisture shine definition and softness

After a wash-n-go, when you wash your hair after having it in for like a week or two, is it tangled or is it hard to detangle if you have shingled it?
That gel is not a styler it’s just to activate curls

Does the Wet line extreme make your hair hard and crunchy?
It does leave a cast but it’s easy to scrunch it out, or if you like the crunch (some people do) it’ll soften up over the days
It looks like you’re doing finger coils
