Foreigners can start business in India, and could stay in India. Recently India replaced US $ to encourage international investors/ business partners.
Many foreigners join Yoga study program and stay for many months, even years. ( 6 -12 months , 2 / 3 / 4 years depending upon the duration of the program) Tuition fee will be 1500 $ - 3000 per year and food & living costs just 3000 $ for bachelor. 😊

I do live as a western expat in a latin american country, as you see with the case of Andrew Tate it's all well and good to live in a country with a corrupt government who will ignore most laws, but not good when they turn that corruption on you, problem is most western countries are catching up in that corruption and are worse in a lot of levels.

You don’t need citizenship to move to another country! Just a visa to stay longer term. You can visit for up to 90 days, in Europe, for example. Residence permit can come after you buy a property, if that’s your goal. You can just rent too.

Hey, dude, my expenses to live in Vietnam are about $7,000 a year (renting a three story mansion in the city center and vacations once a week). As long as you have a net of $10,000 a year it’s technically enough. I do recommend you avoid the main cities and try a smaller city to get better return on value … Cambodia is cheapest currently and has a very unique expat community.

Regarding residence permit and descent, India has the OCI... Overseas Citizen of India. I have it in my US Passport. It is more of their equivalent of a Green Card...not quite a citizenship. You get it by your ancestry, and family ties. You can't be having ties to any of India's neighbors though... India only.
Me, I have it more as a standing multiple entry visa to go back and forth into India. My wife, originally from Vietnam, could theoretically get an OCI for India, but she has no desire, as she has a US Passport and a Vietnam Passport.
Me, I have a 5 years visa waiver for Vietnam. It is technically a residence permit. I have it because of my wife. Similar to my OCI for India.
One can get these kinds of things pretty easily. I would only use an agent when it's mandatory, or if I wanted convenience. For my case, and that of my wife, we have done this without the use of agents.
