I then leaned forward and got sucked into this game cause of how this battle theme set the mood and intensity and i loved ittt. The very beginning gives me Final Boss feelings and damn it isnt even a final boss
Ever since I heard the Seven Seconds till the End version of this motif back in Remake, I've been almost literally chomping at the bit to hear it in Rebirth. I am so happy with how good *and* borderline sinister both this and the field edits sound. Made me want to squee and shrivel up behind the sofa while playing Chapter 13.
Personally I was disappointed that there isn't a faithful rendition of the track in the game, only heavy remixes like this. And it never plays in the actual Forgotten Capital where it should.
correct me if im wrong but nobuo uematsu is not making a new song in remake it's only hollow and rebirth it's only the main theme song appart from that it's arranged by different people, who the original song is homage composed by nobuo uematsu

I would thank both since the original helped shape a lot of the soundtrack, but yeah def give the Shotaro Shima credit here as well as the other composer for his tracks (name escapes me srry)
Of all god tier soundtrack we've heard up to this point, this has got to be my favorite theme in the game. Like Ive never had the heebe jeebies of how epic a game has been before. My god, I was just wrecking face with Tifa and Cloud in Prime Mode. In the temples of ancients, fucking shit up with this theme playing and I just had to shake out the heebe jeebies after combat. This game is LEGENDARY!
Cloud is totally messed up, Sephiroth is looming, and the dread is settling in. Awesome track
The tension in the temple was incredible. I hope for an equal or even more impressive experience in the northern crater.
