I've been watching your videos wishing I lived closer I'm from nh bought a 22 street glide last year over a year later I only have 400 miles I'm to scared of dumping my 27000 bike just ordered saddle bag guards to help incase.. your videos are really helping me a lot I'm 72 and weigh 130 pounds lol

"All I know is what the NYPD taught me about how to ride, prior to that I never rode a motorcycle". One of the things that got me hooked on the channel and wanting to get involved with slow-speed ride training for the average rider, is that I share the same experience. It was one of the things that helped me realize right off the bat the importance of this skill and continual development/retaining it through constant practice. I too had the exact same experience. All I know is how to ride the way my PD taught me in motor school as well and prior to that, I'd never even sat on a motorcycle much less rode one. When I finished that school I knew I was in love with riding! The majority of riders will never get that opportunity that you and I have had Rob, but I too am "all in" with sharing the knowledge of it.

I didn't realize you can take the police riding course without previous experience. Thats a big difference from the 250 Rebel I learned in the slow speed course!

Feel comfortable with your first 4 exercises. But that infamous u turn in a tighter space, not so much. Every time i pull in my gravel driveway i have to do a u turn. Getting better. Looks like you have some speed. It seems Bette for me when im going at least 10 to 15 mph. Any suggestions appreciated.

Have you had your pursuit tuned, do they have the tune? Throttle response on challengers so much better after tune
No tune.
Question, what mode are you in ? Throttle is a lot more touchy in Sport mode vs. standard & rain.
I was in sport mode. I’ve also tried it in standard mode.
Great video (and videos). Recently got the Pursuit. Have been following your instructions carefully. Very helpful. One question; I’ve duckwalked the parking lot several times and consistently showing 27 feet. Can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. I believe you are getting 23. I’ve raised my bars slightly (stock bars). Could that be it?

Most likely, you’re either not leaning enough, not turning the bars enough, not committing to the lean right away, going a little too fast, or a combination of these things.

I’m counterbalancing. Sometimes I may have a little bit of left cheek hanging off the seat during sharp right turns.

It does but it doesn’t work well.
I am going to Motor school in October and when I am practicing I noticed that I am not transitioning my handlebars fast enough. Is there an exercise to help me with my transitions and teardrop dipping.

I think it would frustrate me real quickly that I can’t make an 18’ or less u turn because of the motorcycle. I like making tight u turns.
Yeah I understand that. But that’s why it isn’t my only motorcycle. It couldn’t be for that reason alone. 👍🏾
