He immediately reminded me of Ramses: a guy drawn to the "modern" woman only to turn around and consider those exact attributes the obstacles in the relationship. I hope I'm wrong though...

How do you not give your partner the love/respect they deserve but give it to your trial partner. Toxic at best. People need to stop wasting others time. If you’re not in a relationship to grow and eventually build a future together then don’t even bother.

Scotty “we have an unconventional relationship” and Aria “we fight for each other.” You hit it with what is unconventional but I also need to know what type of fighting have they had to do? Is it normal relationship struggles or are you fighting because there are real issues.
