I got bought this fan on Amazon and it's great! I used a Davies Craig 0444 fan controller. I was amazed at how cool it kept my car!
Gm LT truck engines twin brushless fans
Ftw, dirt cheap at the salvage yards and moves tons of air, consume less amps and lighter
Thanks for the video!
Looks awesome, might do it to my radiator
I just subscribed. I forgot. I need those brackets for A-Body Hyraboost only. I have the link but this video brings me to another subject.

You should use a gasket of some sort. It's gonna be sucking hot air from under hood instead of pulling all through the rad. Is there a splitter between the fans or just wide open in there?
Yes good point. I plan on putting some edge trim to close the gap. Not sure what you mean by splitter?
thats weird, mechanical fan shrouds have a huge hole and that isnt an issue. maybe stick to viewing instead of commenting things you know nothing about
I have the same sheet metal brake!
Ford Windstar = Peak Performance.
What size did they get trimmed down to. I have a core that’s 22 3/4 x16 1/2
I have a 454 big block I was just looking on Amazon on those fans but I don't see nowhere it says 4000 CFM

Hey they just subscribed, great vid and info any video of wiring or if you can possibly so one thanks a bunch
I don't have any wiring videos on this build. Are you looking for fan wiring? I used a pretty reasonably priced PWM fan controller and it works awesome!
Hell yeah!!! Badass
Which radiator are you using?
@@HTMR
Do you have the part number for the parts used to make power steering pump work for you?
What parts specifically? The pulley?
@@HTMR the hoses or adapter from pump to gearbox
@@tyferguson564 I swapped in a 93 grand Cherokee steering box. Late 80's Camaro pressure hose works.
How’s the fan holding out?
Still on jack stands for another month LOL.
Another question. Did you wire the fans using a relay or an inline fuse? I've had bad luck with relays and prefer a switch. What do you think is best?
I'm using a northern radiator pwm. Slowly ramps up and overall they spin pretty slow, meaning less noise. Costs under 200. Super easy to wire up. Good relays and wiring can easily be 100 and then you get spikes when they turn on. Pwm all the way!
@@HTMR Ok thanks for the info!
What's pwm?
What main harness did u use?
What bench vise is that? Looks stout!
I think it is a morgan 130
Which PWM did you use for the fans?
Northern radiator. Works great.
@@HTMR Thank you very much!
Nice tutorial but you didn't show if it actually works or not the more horsepower you have the more air you need I'm dealing with that right now

My cooling system works great and holds 190-195. 180 tstat and PWM fan controller. Fans barely spin, I'd say 10-15% duty cycle.
I have these on 3 Ls swaos
Can I run both of them simultaneously as pullers?
Yes, that is what I do.
@@HTMR Ok thanks!
What’s the dimensions of the Windstar fan assembly?

What year are those fans

What’s the link to these fans

Did you confirm 4000cfms?
No way....all electric fans, are exaggerated....most are 30 to 40 pcnt less than rated
How about some long term comments or modifications now that you know ........
It's been a year and 1500-2000 miles and no issues. I have a PWM controller and the fans barely spin (maybe 30% duty cycle max).
2000 cfm over a wider area is still 2000 cfm...not 4000...smarten up....if i install 6 ...3 inch fans that are 2000 each....i dont get 12,000 cfm
Each fan flows over 2000 cfm. What don't you get?
Smarten up? Are you an aeronautical engineer or an expert in fluid dynamics? 😂😂😂
