that idea about the beer flying on the ground and popping up for you to drink and then it recycles it.... FUCKING AWESOME
to all nerds here who hate this video, this isn't for you, guys. This is for people who go out.
I don't go to clubs for their design etc. I see clubs as a shell, I go for the music that is contained within that shell.
"No camera no celphone." This is a policy the Berghain in Berlin operates to a degree and it preserves a very special atmosphere. Also it has contributed largely to the club becoming a sort of enigma.
this is so fascinating!
my ideal club: no lights, no decoration, loud electronic music, 24 hours open in weekend
I was @ Area back in the day!!! Man, I miss NY
I love the no phones or cameras idea. No one lives in the moment with those things
This is just a really good Heineken ad.
This could easily be a one to two parts series. While this could be interesting, I'm not 6 parts interested.
Interesting idea, but how would you divide then club for partying and a club for entertainment/chill?
Design a club like a game you say!
Well first of all the club would have to be really long so it takes like 2 hrs to go the length of the club so it feels like your actually traveling through a side scroll'er game, You get a token at the door, alcoholic drinks are 1ups etc etc so much to be explored with an idea like that!!
Spot on.
These are the people who design your cozy little bar with a good sound system.
This is not highbrow artsy bullshit, it's ideas to elevate a mundane night on town, to a unique experience. I don't know about you, but sitting in the same bar, talking shit with the same people for the third weekend in a row just doesn't do it for me, if something like this came to my town, it would be a blessing.
If you want "highbrow artsy bullshit" look up Interior Semiotics here on youtube, now thats bullshit.
why does Vice keep getting heaps of thumbs down? Dx
Who doesn't want to create a nightclub centered around chickens and tic tac toe?
Dancing?
What is this the seventies?
Drinking?
Psshh... Forget that.
Just gimme my chicken to put in a slot, and I'm good to go!
no camera, no cellphone, back to the 80s then
thanks!
Have vending machines for basic drinks like rum and cokes and beers. Even shots
Lot's of people, pretending to be opening minded, hating on a vid about a culture they don't understand because their world perspective is from behind a keyboard.
3:11 club La Vela's been doing that for 15 years
milk bar! do it.
thankyou
No lasers or dance floor lights?
All these designers are talking about how they want a real experience where everyone meets for the first time and everything is spontaneous and loud, and fun. This is called a rave. You cannot design a rave. It just happens.
Spartan themed nightclub!
This is interesting. It's the spirit of Rome and Saturnalia. It's the fall of a once great society before it collapses. It's history repeating itself and were seeing it happen right before our eyes.
I wouldn't mind occasionally going to a party and dressing up. Same concept.
Difference is, when I go to a club, I don't want to go to a party. That's where these people fuck up. They need to learn the difference between the two.
Maybe these are people who never got invited to parties, and therefore want to experience this party life?

Loyal Divide - DDF, it's in the top comments right now
These are the type of people that would crap their pants in a real world disaster situation.
@Carobmoth You don't really get that type of creativity out of a government. Free market or bust
promoting loyal divide like cray-zee
FREE SPEECH? PENDING APPROVAL?
FREE SPEECH? PENDING APPROVAL?
IS ANYONE AWAKE IN HERE? HELLLLO ANYONE ALIVE?
That doesn't ruin the point he was making.
why are they only talking to old people cause its the young people and the teens who party..
@8:43
Did these dislikes come from people who didn't like part 1? What a bunch a nob gobblers.
Michael Musto is NY...
I want that
tell it how it is
LSD CLUB LOL
why the fuck is heinken taking over vice ?
nope total darkness only the lights of a mixer and turntables
bawww.. show me nightclub in Somalia where warlords wave around their AKs and snort gunpowder and cocaine.
I don't get it,, what are people seeing as wrong with this series.
mushrooms
Not going to lie, but they do not represent "our generation" as is said at the end of the video...although beers under the dancefloor seems pretty cool
"the future of nightlife"
bwahahahahahhaha
You can be open-minded and still be opposed to things, it's called reasoning.
Being open-minded doesn't equate to being part of every existing consensus.
Your world perspective is limited to overpopulated cities, therefore your only mean to appreciate loud music is through disgusting nightclubs. I can be open-minded but still find your so-called culture inferior ; you don't know any better anyway.
bazinga
milk
pretending to be opening minded. Nice grammar mate
That spanish chick makes no sense.
They never do.
boring....and never ends.

Pretty fuckin gay vice....
