I love this one because you see her dig thru the audio issues*, all for an audience that mainly spoke other languages, and its still damn amazing.
*A few times they weren't ready for her dynamics, but overall the quality is there (the beads clicking on her hat is so clear).
Almost distracting at first with the beads, but became something more later...kind of weird. I think listening to so much Ren and how he uses all sounds in his songs has made me more tolerant of those sounds most would remove.
This was at the Estonian Music Awards so the audience wasn’t there for her, per se, but yeah - if I were to attend something like that, the artist would deserve my full attention. I mean, man - artists like that just pouring their entire souls into their performances 😭 Thanks, yarbs ✌🤟
YW! They must be zombies to ignore that going on. I think id have just been standing at the edge of that walkway staring at her like I was hypnotized. Any more performances she goes in on like this?

@@yarbafett I also love Ren and Chin’s performance of How To Be Me at St George's Church, Brighton (though there are some people talking 😒). Had you already seen it? Too late to do a reaction to this one? ruclips.net/video/ErCnHdp96TE/видео.html This was from 2019 before they filmed the version everyone knows. Seeing this performance (and from the original studio version) I feel like this song has less to do with Joe than everyone wants to believe from the 2021 filming (especially as Chinchilla has writing credits on it but a lot of people keep wanting to deny her that). These earlier versions felt much more whimsical (a better adjective escapes me right now).
This song (and most of her older stuff) is so underrepresented in reactions so thank you for reacting to this song!

I didn’t see Little Girl Gone, which was her breakout hit and that one has both an official video and a live video (Requiem version) which are both worth reacting to, in that order (if you have seen the official video on your own) I would also definitely do Cut You Off- which has a great video. Although they were both released earlier as singles, they are part of the Flytrap EP.
The last 2 full songs on the album (Caps Lock and Bounce Back) have only been released as lyric videos so you may want to wait a bit to see if she does any official videos for them. I think they are both catchy and more upbeat (especially Caps Lock). I know she has followed lyric videos with official videos pretty quickly in the past, but I have no idea whether that might be delayed due to her busy performance schedule this summer.
Beyond that album though, “Fingers” live is another amazing performance which is a must see in my opinion (there is also a music video, which is very cool, but the live version is a totally different vibe and top of many people’s lists as far as showcasing her voice). I believe you mentioned you had already heard her other stuff, but wasn’t sure if you had seen both versions. She also has videos for the Lockdown Getdown and Terms and Conditions.
Also, both “Elements” and “Fabulous” are listed as lyric videos but they are actually more than that in that she appears in them and “performs” against a green screen type of background. So, those still give more visual content than a “plain” lyric video.
Also, I didn’t see her duets with Ren listed both Chalk Outlines and How To Be Me (live video versions) are musts, if you haven’t already heard them.

Thanks so much for checking out this amazing song/performance.... cool idea about the bells.... ^_^.... yea the crowd was more into themselves....absolutely sucked....In my opinion, they and the audio techs are going to regret that day...as I feel Chinchilla is an equivalent talent to Janis Joplin ... and when more people engage her .... these old recordings will be as precious as the Monterey Pop festival .... I've been around likely even longer than you and in my book...Chinchilla is certainly one of the most sincere and talented artists I have ever witnessed .... she and Ren have rekindled the embers of music as it should be.....

Your volume was very low, I really had to CRANK up my volume level. She is a force, a fantastic singer. She has tremendous emotion in her singing and performing. Digs into our souls and can feel it, and understand it. Thank you for reaction. She needs MORE attention to her music and lyrics.
Thanks. Sometimes the volumes an issue for some. Until i upgrade the equipment Im a lil limited. I am down to do more of her songs, just need some recommendations......got any?
@@yarbafett Sorry I am not tech savy or knowledgeable. All I know how to do is turn something or off, and turn or adjust volumes and colors. LOL I wish you luck finding what you might need for future videos and reactions. I have no idea how it works, just thought maybe it was your microphone needed adjusting ? Anyway good luck.
