Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex - Boss 5: Crunch Time & Ending Credits (Crash Dash Get!)

- So once again, for the third time in their lives, Crash and Coco has found 25 more Crystals. The only thing to do now was to face Cortex and Uka Uka yet again. And this time, Crash has his "evil twin" Crunch to deal with, too.
Crunch is now fully-charged with Elemental power, and he shows this by using the four switches in the background to summon different powers.
Yellow = Earth: Rok-Ko appears and drops burning rocks everywhere.
Blue = Water: Wa-Wa appears. Since water really isn't harmful as the other elements can be, and the arena isn't set up in a way to drown Crash without endangering the villains, Wa-Wa instead summons ice boulders that freeze Crash on impact. This is the only Elemental move that doesn't outright kill him.
Red = Fire: THE FLOOR IS LAVA! Or at least one fire at different parts...
Purple = Air: Electric lines zip across. For some reason, you can't jump over them, because they'll hit you, anyway. It's really annoying!
Jumping around and hitting those switches does drain him of energy. When he's catching his breath, shoot him with the Bazooka. He'll get dazed for a moment, blame Cortex for it, then hit him to where you are. Although you're mostly fighting and beating up Crunch, this boss battle overall still has Cortex as its main source of health. After hitting Cortex, Uka Uka picks him up and drags him back to his control panel as Crunch adds more attacks to his combo.
After hitting Cortex enough times, Uka Uka spins him in the air helplessly and you've beaten the trio, earning you the last Power: The Speed Shoes, a.k.a., the Crash Dash, which makes you run faster just like in Warped!

Afterwards, Crash heads back to the Warp Room in this victory, and Cortex is left to once again complain about getting another lost. But them, Uka Uka reminds Cortex that while Crash and his friends have gotten all of the Crystal, they have yet to get all of the Gems. If they find all of the Gems, they can use their power instead to fully re-awaken the Elementals to end Crash and take over the world once and for all.
During the credits, Crash does disco-dancing with a disco-dancing Lab Assistant, all to some groovy space-like music.

In this video, I removed every instance of a loading screen, but this time I also didn't put out my "SKIP!" message acknowledging that. I won't be doing that anymore.
I've beaten the game at this point, but that was only really more than half of the game. The true task to finishing this game is to collect all of the Gems, and to help with that, you need to get all of the Relics, too.
I will start recording and uploading my progress of that in the future, so stay tuned for when I do!

Cortex: Hey guys check out my new super weapon Crunch, he can push like four buttons before getting winded.
Well, he did just get defeated by Crash 4 times before that, so I guess he'd be pretty tired.
If you look closely, aku starts twirling around him. So I think that’s what tires him out
To be fair, Crunch's high jumps and side jumps are insane

In crunch time if you change the view to looking up you'll see all the elementary masks above uka uka

This is the only boss where the fruit bazooka can be used.
1. Yellow = Rok-Ko make Hot Rocks-like meteor toward Crash.
2. Indigo = Wa-Wa send a giant Ice Boulder that would froze him instanly.
3. Red = Py-Ro cause the floor to rise up a Flame like it was an incinerator.
4. Violet = Lo-Lo summon electric lines toward Crash.
I couldn't care less about collecting the gems. Some parts were too tricky and too difficult. When I was a kid, I believe that the only way I can tell if I beat the game if there's credits at the end

Yeah, I understand how you feel about collecting gems. They are virtually impossible to collect.
Facts like that kinda pissed me off as kid too.

Say what you want about this game, but the music is FIRE!
Gotta say this boss fight is alright but the music is way to good even for this I actually prefer this over the theme for the final fight in crash 4 it’s about time
Wrath of Cortex has the best Crash Soundtrack ever, followed by Twinsanity and then Titans.

Incinerators: wtf is fire? Too late

@@sunsetlover123-y7c I never fully completed Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex, but when I started playing Crash Nitro Kart, they showed Crunch being a good guy and I was wondering how did he become one until I saw the full ending of Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex

Twinsanity takes place after Wrath of Cortex, CNK is part of the spin off series.

Oh man.. I remember when i was a child, i was on the final boss level, and i didn't know what to do, so i kept shooting at Cortex with that bazooka. I thought you were suppose to do that, but no. XD
I remember my older brother finally made it to the final boss, and he was just about to beat him. He just needed one more shot, but then I accidentally distracted him, so he missed, then died.

Naughty Dog new the limitations of the PS1 so they put a lot of texture into the original trilogy which is why they still hold up today. This game looks so bad because there's no texture to anything. On the Playstation Naughty Dog made it look like crash had fir because he was very textured (for the time) in Wrath of Cortex Crash Bandicoot looks like he's made of rubber.
Unless you have seen the Xbox version.

I'm the only one That never reach to the final boss do u know why of course you don't I was stuck at the 4th boss at the game when ever I enter the 4th boss level it freezes at the loading screen I was playing it on my ps2 I reast my ps2 samething happens I cleaned the disc samething again I bought another disc to see if it works SAME FU+#ING THING HAPPENS until I realized that every disc with this game is a fu$+ing scum I live in Saudi Arabia I know I can play it on a pc or a laptop but I ain't got that much money plus they don't buy GameCube in Saudi arabia and to this day I still don't have it I will edit this comment once I get to the 5th world if I can play it
