For some weird reason I found Crunch's 2nd battle to be the most difficult as a kid.
Edit: Oh wow three years. Glad I wasn't the only one. I had trouble because I forgot the slide jump existed so I was making it harder by my own stupidity.

Crunch, in my opinion, is not that intimidating as a villain. Thank god he was only being mind controlled.
With a remake of this game, he could be made much more intimidating.

He makes a good hero though. A gentle giant, and the sane man to Crash's craziness :p

This one, tag team racing and twinsanity are my favourite crash games! I really loved them!
I feel like there is a nugget of a good game here. The idea of the elementals and how destructive they are only adds to that.

idc what people say, WOC is the TRUE Crash 4. (but It’s About Time is a incredible game btw.
Think about this.
Half of the bosses use vehicles.
In the final fight, Crunch doesn't attack Crash directly at all, he only jumps around onto some buttons and punches Cortex a few times.
Also consider the fact that Cortex forced Crunch to work with the Elementals even though Crunch could probably have pummeled Crash by himself.

I would say remake more like. Even though I like this game, it has a lot of rough edges to smooth out
This was the first Crash game I actually beaten the whole game. I hated most of the levels in the game since it was mostly vehicles instead of platforming, even the boss battles
That was the problem with the game. It would have been a top tier crash game but the main complaint was that the MAJORITY of the levels were vehicle based. Which I agree

This was the first crash game I ever properly played. First game I “played” or remember witnessing was cortex strikes back. But this was truly my first game. And I freakin loved it. I was too young I suppose to have appreciated an almost fully platform game, little to no vehicles.
I just loved almost everything about this game. The animation, the style of everything, the character model’s designs, the levels, I enjoyed the vehicle levels and crunch, to me, was a cool villain, maybe not all that intimidating but cool. I was glad it turned out he was just being mind controlled, so that meant he was able to come back for future crash games!
I also LOVED the beginning cutscene, it was the only real time I’ve ever felt some real tension and how scary the villains actually are. The music and all I think it what did it. And with crash and friends? I didn’t like the beach part so much tbh but when aku aku confronts uka uka and when they’re preparing crash to stop cortex, love it. I think it’s really pumped or at least it makes you very pumped to save the world.
The only thing I didn’t like about this game was the last boss. It was lame as hell.
Even the next Crash game commented about WOC in on one the cutscenes. Can you guess which Crash game I'm talk about...

Wrath of Cortex - The only Crash game where the boss battles are generally challenging.
Don't suppose you've ever played Twinsanity? Dingodile will chew you up and spit you out if you aren't on your toes at all times.
@@lightninstriker10 It really isnt a bossfight, but that fucking walrus chase segment on N.Gins battleship. Man that was hard for me back in the day. And N.Gin was also pretty annoying, i always ran into those fucking spike things.

This game has the best boss fights by far in any of the Crash games. I love how Crunch was used differently in all the 5 battles. It was amazing.

I don't care what anyone says, this game was banging. The levels were awesome, the game play was awesome, the soundtrack was definitely awesome, the elementors were good villains. The only negative thing I can say is that the boss fights were a little forgettable (except the lava one) But at least they provided some challenge unlike most crash boss fights.
To me, this game, crash bandicoot wrapped & crash twinsanity are the best games in the series.
Looking back at this game now I can see why most people didn't like it. It feels incomplete.

I remember this game, it was pretty decent on it's own, but compared to the original trilogy it doesn't hold a candle to them.
i remember the water monster being hard as f. I was playing this game with my dad when i was like 9-10 yr's old and when i told my dad i finally beat the boss he couldn't almost believe me at first. I felt like a real mvp😂

@chris robson better no... that moveset of her was garbage in the game, if they're gonna to remaster it, at least animate better the moves, eliminate that low kick and... change that scooter section, also give her the powerups
I would like better if you could also unlock crunch, poor guy wasnt even playable in any main game post to WoC
But as i said, with coco in the game, and with the possible Nsane moveset, crunch would be unnecesary

I liked both twinsanity and WoC, but.... If i had to choose a remake/remaster, it would be Twinsanity. WoC is already complete and is not broken, you could complete it to 100% even with relics, but twinsanity left a lot to be made, when i played it was so full of options, good playability, music and history, but when i was at the third part of the game it felt rushed, levels like ant agony are full of bugs (no pun intended... Entirely).
I would give the option to twinsanity, to finally know what would have been, and of course, to know the final to the crash bandicoot saga (yes, canonically, twinsanity is the final game in the main storyline, after it came of the titans being the reboot of the saga, we only knew that cortex was trapped inside crash's mind and thats all, i wanna know the whole story)

When i was a little kid, i was stuck in that fucking water Crunch for so long. Well, my sister was the one who originally got me this game, and she was really good at it. The problem was, she lived in another city, and i had to wait like a month for her to come visit. Well she evetually beat the boss for me and i was happy,

In my opinion this game deserves to have a remaster but the developers should go back and fix the problems that the original Wrath of Cortex had. This game had potential dont get me wrong but they somewhat screwed a few things up.

2. The other villains need to have their own boss battles against Crash or Coco
3. The Abilitise that you had in Crash Bandicoot Warped should be unlock right from the start but make the levels very challenging if they're going to do that

I think that this game might’ve been taking place after the ending of Warped when the player didn’t get the Relics (hence why Cortex and N. Tropy are still adults in the opening of this game) and It’s about Time is set after Warped after getting everything (when Cortex, Uka Uka, and N. Tropy are trapped in prehistoric times (the age of the dinosaurs) and Cortex and N. Tropy are turned into babies having a tug-of-war on Uka Uka)
While i did enjoy this game (i prefer this one over Titans/Mutants) Can Vicarious make a real sequel to Warped and introduce Crunch somehow ? And Wrath of Cortex ignores the fact that Cortex and N Tropy are stuck with Uka Uka as babies.

Picture this if you will; imagine if the Crash 3 bosses teamed up with Crunch during the fights instead of being relegated to the vehicle levels and especially the ball-rolling levels.
I would get behing that because I *HATED* the racing levels in Warped. I still do! Although, I would say I'm pretty good at CTR. Then again, CTR is a driving game while Warped is not.

This was a fun fan game, because after all we all know that after crash 3 we got 20 years of nothing, then a remake and 3 years later we get a 4th game.
When I was a Kid, I thought Crunch was a real villain before I play the Nitro Kart. And Now as an Adult, Now I know why he was being mind controlled by Cortex and his goons
