I saw the post by Zac a few months ago listing who he'd worked with. I saw Markus King an I was like, "Nice!," This song is beautiful both lyrically and musically. ZBB always finds a way to nail it.
My reaction as follows: 4:22 - Not a bad song. Wait, there’s 3 minutes left? 4:55 - Oh wow I think it’s gonna be guitar solo and instrumental for the rest of the track? 5:36 - Oh. My. God. *eyes watering* 7:10 - BRAVO. BEAUTIFUL. Since The Foundation, one of the things that drew me into the band and made me a big fan was the fact that y’all aren’t just popping out radio tracks. Y’all aren’t just one frontman singer. Y’all are a BAND. MUSICIANS. Marcus did a fantastic job sharing his talents here, and blends well with y’all, since y’all all know how to play y’all’s instruments and aren’t afraid to put it on display! Beautiful song. Probably my favorite new song from y’all yet! This one had SOUL. Also I know it’s “just a lyric video” but the video footage was beautiful.
The river flowing let's me know this one is exactly what I am going through at this time and is meant for me to hear at this exact moment in my life. But the skills of these musicians are impeccable...right on !!!

Stubborn Pride is what I’m talking about!!!!! Now that’s a classic ZBB song right there!! Love it. Every album had at least one or three classic songs I’m loving this one. It’s that country but bluesy feel. I love it. Didn’t care for Out In The Middle felt like that was trying too hard to say “look we’re still country”, loved Old Love Song. Hopefully Man Who Loves You The Most is also on the album
