    I can't stop watching this video D': I hope you aren't offended, but I like this setup rather than your newer ones (I know this is 7 months ago lol). Also could you do maybe more revieews on these markers? I love your videos, thumbs up!

      I'm not offended at all, this is valuable input! I usually try to record directly from above (like in this video), but sometimes space restrictions mean I have to get creative with layout. I have a few other Ali Express marker reviews recorded, I'm just waiting on them to get edited, so hopefully I'll have more soon. I hope you find them helpful/entertaining!

    I saw in one of he reviews for fibecolour marker that most of the caps colors are not the same as the inside of the marker, how about your markers, is it the same?

      +Mic otaku Its not consistent- I have to rely on labelled swatches for color selection.

      Ah that's cool! Where can I find the colorless blender? I'm curious as to whether they work better for Finecolour markers than the Copic Colorless Blender. Do you use Finecolours for illustration regularly? How do they hold up over time?

      one can choose a custom set (which I did and they got all my colours right, that is pretty neat)
      thb the blender is not really a blender, but rather an eraser xD I like that pretty much cause it erases preeetty good. furthermore, I think a blender is not really necessary, since the colours blend very very good. (I have Copic Ciao, Promarkers, Touch Five and one Cameleon marker for comparison, and I think their quality is pretty much the same

      +erasedEnergy I'm glad the custom set worked out for you- I was tempted to give that a go, but chickened out. Hopefully others who try the custom set will have the same good experience!

    I'm 13 and do you think I should get the finecolour marker? I'm looking for a cheap Copic alternative. Btw I think the Shan hai touch marker is a knockoff of the old version of the shin Han touch twin marker 😊

    • @Nattosoup
      @Nattosoup  8 лет назад +1

      +Giao Nguyen You're probably right about the Shang Hai Touch being a Twin Touch old body knockoff :P I think Finecolors are ok to use, especially if you can get a good deal on the set, but you may find it easier, and more enjoyable, to work with a marker with a flexible brush tip. Right now, I really like Blick's Studio Brush markers (www.dickblick.com/products/blick-studio-brush-markers/), and while they're a little more expensive, I think they handle a lot better without costing an arm and a leg. You can order just the colors you think you'll need, or order the set.

    • @actualitiesart3332

      +Becca Hillburn +Giao Nguyen It actually is a knock-off of the old Shinhan Touch markers. I have two of the older models that literally look the EXACT same as the Shanghai. I may do a review soon :P

    Hello dear Friend, I been going nuts for weeks trying to decide which markers to get for just coloring adult coloring books . Copic , Shin Han or the knock off from Aliexpress . I want the 72 Copic set but I cant pay 380$ Please if you would be so kind to give me advice , I would greatly appreciate it . Thank you .

    • @Nattosoup
      @Nattosoup  8 лет назад +1

      +Francis Valensiano I would say the AliExpress markers would be fine for coloring books, as there are usually lots of tiny areas to color, and the bullet nib works fine for that. The only real issue is be careful about the paper- alcohol markers will bleed through almost all but the heaviest papers. I usually work with a piece of cardstock underneath, but if your pages are double sided, you'll lose the image on the other side.

    The old OLD ShinHans looked exactly like the Touch and Tinge markers. Current ShinHan are their newer design.

    I saw these Finecolour markers online which are $35AUD for 48 markers, and I'm 14 years old. Should I buy them, as I can't really afford Copics right now, and I've used alcohol markers before. Is it worth the investment, or should I save up for copics?

    • @aco2211
      @aco2211 7 лет назад

      i think you should get the cheaper alternative, maybe later when one is older or more serious with art you can invest in them. But you do you, copics are great tho.

    • @Nattosoup
      @Nattosoup  7 лет назад +2

      Tyrannosaurus Rex If well cared for, Copics should last a decade or more. That said, while you're learning, you will probably want a lot of colors to play around with. if that's the case, there's a brush tipped marker sold on Ali Express- search Double Line marker- that handles quite well and is fairly inexpensive.

    • @aco2211
      @aco2211 7 лет назад

      ah, lets not forget topic refills are expensive and more expensive than the price for one marker. But anyways if you're in for quality, then i would get copics. This is totally up to you, but if you're a beginner artist maybe the cheaper version is better. These alternatives are actually quite similar to prismacolors and topics. I also agree with what Becca said.

    • @veredhart4939
      @veredhart4939 7 лет назад

      ACO Troy The refills can fill a sketch 12 times so if you do the math, it costs about $2 USD for each refill, which is really great!

    I've been using touch markers for my art along with a few copics. and my copics always die on me while my copic alternatives still last.

    • @Nattosoup
      @Nattosoup  8 лет назад +1

      +Kiti tan I've found that I get different amounts of use out of different Copic types, and longer use out of Copics I've refilled myself over those I've purchased open from in the store. Shin Han Twin Touch's bodies are about the size of a Copic Original, so they'll probably last about as long as one, but Sketch and Ciao are both smaller, and hold less ink.

    • @MomoDearestt
      @MomoDearestt 8 лет назад

      Oh, I see. Because I brought a copic sketch last week and it's dying. T 3 T it makes me sad. But I'm surprised how long my Touch Markers lasted me.

    • @Nattosoup
      @Nattosoup  8 лет назад

      +Kiti tan I'm sorry to hear that! If it was open stock, it probably saw too much in-store use. If you ordered it, the store may be willing to replace it.
