Do you have a rug you think would be good to feature on this channel ?
Im looking for the dirtiest rugs imaginable. So, if you have a rug laying around you were meant to dispose of but you think it might be salvageable, please get in touch by emailing me.
This will have to be Uk based only for reasonable collection.
The rug will be collected for free, cleaned and donated to charity or given back if you so wish.
Please send details of the rug and pictures to - info@mountainrugcleaning.co.uk

I will not be putting Ai on every video. Normal videos will stay the same. This is just a little extra. Wanted the voice to hammer home what I have to say and also save slow readers like me having to pause/ go back every time. I hope you enjoy.
Love these sped up videos and the AI voice lets me focus on the rug cleaning without having to stop and read! Definitely wouldn’t work for your longer videos though!
@@audiceee Of course. Id never put it over those. Glad to hear you are enjoying these though.
I love these speeded up videos, and also love the captions that explain things, but I personally, really don't like the voice-over :( maybe Dirt Reynolds could do the voice-over :)
Didn't like the voice-over, sorry.
The voice-over was Kool! And I know you Only used it for This Specific video, so it's Kool!
I never thought it wasn't worth it, but now I think you're work is even better knowing how much care you've put into choosing your resources carefully
Absolutely worth cleaning, not everyone has the luxury to spend money on a rug with mouths to feed but it doesn't mean they wouldn't love to have one, if it can bring a smile to another then it's worth it
That’s a cute lil rug! And I know it will be appreciated by somebody. A little kid in their bedroom. A pooch or kitty waiting for their furever home. It’s absolutely worth cleaning.
It definitely is worth cleaning and reusing such a beautiful rug.
15.11 I love watching your videos, especially the long ones. They help send me to sleep. Thanks for the info..I always wondered about the amount of water you use and was so happy to learn that a lot of it is rainwater. Also the careful product choices to help care for our beautiful planet. I never think any of your cleans are a waste of time as it’s a charitable act. You are very kind. ❤
I think what you do is amazing. Thanks for sharing that you are environmentally conscious about rug cleaning. :)
Absolutely worth it, for all the reasons you gave and because that was such a lovely rug with a lot more life in it. Thanks for saving rugs from landfill, caring enough to put the work in and sharing for us to watch. I love you videos, they are so relaxing.
Of course it’s worth it. You put your heart into it and a lot of thought and care. You’re careful to use whatever resources you can that are sustainable or reusable the work you do is fabulous.
You answered a lot of questions I always asked myself while watching your videos 😅 now I can enjoy them even more 😍
Worth it, totally
James, the rug is worth it! It's so adorable!
Very cute rug. Maybe a daycare centre or preschool in a disadvantaged area would appreciate a donation of a cute rug for the kids to play on (and if its local you can even offer to clean it in the future)
Always worth it. Keep it up.
The cutest kids rug!! The colors really pop!
I definitely think it was worth it. I love elephants and this was so cute! Nice to know it may go to a family in need or to animals in need. Great job!
Absolutely 1000% it was worth it. Thank you for all your hard work ❤❤❤.
Such a cute rug! So glad you saved it!!!
Beautiful. I love that you use harvested rain water!
I agree, it is very much worth it, cleaning these rugs and making them usable again.
Emphatically, YES! I always thought it was worth it.
Cute rug. Worth cleaning. And I like what you do. ❤
Thats a beautiful rug....and its always worth cleaning
If something can be repurposed by cleaning, I'm all about it. That rug cleaned so well thanks to your expertise in what to use and when to use it. I'm sure the animals and others can appreciate what you've done. I know I do.
I think it’s worth it. Too much is disposable
Nicely done
It’s well worth it watching you 🔥
It's 100% worth it. Some of these rugs you do I'd love to have in my home.
Thank you for this 🔥 love your channel, keep going!
Why the AI voice?
Why not?
What is wrong with a human voice?
It’s totally worth it, you’re doing a great thing!
Worth it! If you enjoy the work, it’s even better!
Worth it!!
Worth it ❤
Definitely worth it you do you James❤
It is worth plus not only helps the environment but you save money!
Totally worth it!
Yes, I do
I've always thought it was worth it. I did wonder how much water you use. I didn't realise it was captured rain water, but it's good to know. I'm a strong believer in recycling as much as possible. Pity the council where I live doesn't have the same thoughts!
It is totally worth it! Also an added benefit is the peace that the videos bring!
absolutely worth it and this rug is so cute it even has an elephant on it my fav animal
You are really great, James! I really like it!
Thanks a lot!
That was definitely worth it
Totally worth it. 😊
Just found your channel and I am entranced. Not only are you recycling and reusing the rugs to keep them out of landfills ans give them a new life, but for others, you are providing great ASMR. Those with mental health issues or sleep issues, find these videos very helpful, calming, and enjoyable. Two birds with one stone, as they say. Definitely worth it. Keep up the good work.
Such a cutie pie rug. Yes it was worth it.
Worth it! 👍🏻
Also, I'm sure I speak for a lot of viewers but I take much better care of my carpets and rugs after watching your videos! Enough of that and there won't be as many ditched carpets in the world! Whoo hoo!
And these videos do more for my mental health than many others
There are 2 choices with dirty, old things. Scrap or restore. You have to weigh the cost of each to see if its worth it.
I agree with all your reasons.
At 1.81 million subscribers, it's worth it.
Worth it!
Great, dear friend, good luck❤
Cleaning promotes reusability, no seconds thoughts on the value your work adds.
REDUCE REUSE AND RECYCLE ♻️
When you said you that you enjoyed the work then it's worth it
Wow that got perfectly clean super I loved it. I’ve never seen you use that stencil looking thing before. What is that?
this is an older video, he just added the explanation and shortened it. He stopped using that perforated mat ages ago. It just allows the dirt to flow out and not get caught under the rug/accumulate while cleaning the opposite side. A lot of Brazilian rug cleaners use this technique. Ultimately you still end up needing to clean the back of the rug, so it doesn't really make that much of a difference.
@@neferazure thanks.
I agree...Reduce Reuse Recycle...😊❤
My biggest worry is the water used, do you collect and filter it to reuse it? The results are often spectacular so if it’s environmentally sound then why not, they are telling us all the time to recycle stuff!
Better then in the landfill anytime.
Very worth it 1:57
Awesome!
Worth it
Hi James! Out of curiousity, why not start out cleaning the bottom of the rug first, rather than the top? I would imagine it was easier to loosen anything near the "core" of the rug since the carpet isn't as thick from below!
Definitely would be cool to meet a person like you learn your work and do it it looks really fun and it would help with my disabilitys and Lymes disease big time
What a cute rug. I want it. ;)
amazing ❤
And thousands of people get the relaxation of watching (and hearing)you clean them, so not only are you helping both the environment and those less fortunate, you are also helping the mental health of many people.
Cute rug and worth it. Why would anyone buy a white rug for a child’s room, I don’t even want a light color rug in my house. My grands would love it though.
The honeycomb lattice that you put down for the pressure washer. I’ve been trying to design something similar to that but is small wire floor, suspending the carpet over the floor, catch tray, so none of that dirty water runs through the carpet. so that I can start with the carpet upside down and the pressure washer to blast everything out first to get all that lowest stuff from the backing out in the same it went in. Flip it back over to do my Top clean and the whole time I’ve been working off of the suspended floor so all of the water all of the dirt drops through runs down into the catch.
It cant hurt doing it this way but since trying it, and its just my personal opinion, but it doesn't really help much more . Having it on a solid floor and squeegeeing the top works much better and I wouldn't sacrifice being able to do that over this method. Hope it all works out though.
yes it is worth it you do great work and i'm glad i found your channel.
Thanks and welcome
Do you filter and reuse the water that you use? I notice it kinda pools into a gully and not drain away.
im sorry but i rlly hate the voiceover
That's fair enough
Very much worth cleaning.
this is literally my friends trying to clean my dirty mind
If you ever want someone to do voiceover for your small videos then I'd be glad to! Let me know if you're interested; I can provide voice samples. 😊
i think your videos are proof that these rugs are worth cleaning, they all look beyond saving at first and then the rest of the video immediately proves that idea wrong. at least that's what i think
You are so correct to clean this rung!!!!!
I imagine you retreat the waste water and reuse it as well
Giving something a 2nd or 3rd life is ALWAYS worth it, but then I'm from that generation who used to "make do and mend" - not "landfill it and buy another, and another and another"
I think I’d prefer your own voice over an AI, just saying…
This was too cute NOT to try and save!
... Have these been getting shorter? I always thought the short ones were ~5min.
yes, and the annoying music and AI voice seem like they're here to stay, unfortunately
@@protowave Oh man, I had this one on mute and didn't realize. That hurts.
Ah well.
He still uploads his regular videos Monday and Friday. Stop making a fuss over everything when there's no reason to. These are just extra videos he also posts on his other social media.
How can't it be worth it? What happens to those, if no body restores them? Landfill! That is killing the planet double time. Cos there is then someone who needs to buy a new rug. Of course it's worth it
It would probably be better for the environment if people bought a new carpet when I see the water consumption and cleaning products that are used
Is it worth it financially though?
All that water, cleaning product and electricity must cost a bit.
I always thought recycling is worth it in the USA aren't we all taught the three Rs, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle
Surprised to see this video silencing all your critics. Keep up the good work!
Hey, thanks!
I like the voice and appreciate the explanation. And thank you for spending time making sure these rugs get a new life. 😊
OMG someone likes it haha. Thankyou
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Where do you keep finding all these dirty shit stained rugs constantly?
💙💙
This was great!!!! Thanks for explaining. What an adorable rug! Yay! 🎉🎉🎉
I don't mind the voice over but I will run a petition for it to be you until the day I die 😂
I always thought you perhaps stocked up your water tank at a period when the price was cheaper in the day, never thought you harvested rain water. Clever thinking.
Why not use that grid all the time? Let the dirt fall completely out of the rug...
The rug is adorable! Glad you saved it
Your videos have spoiled me. I can't watch anyone else clean a rug without thinking, "James doesn't do it like that." Or"James says that damages the fibers." "James uses a different tool for that." I'm always comparing everyone else to your skills. You are truly the master of this craft.😊
Love that! Thankyou
