    So you said that Lexus picked up on ideas and refine them. And I think that's very important in terms of Toyota and Lexus. They may not come up with some new ideas. But they're big on refinement. And especially Lexus as it is the upmarket division. Some tech is so great you don't even recognize it as tech. But it takes a lot of tech to make a car not pitch under hard acceleration or braking or steer in a seamless variable way. I'm not sure the style is for everyone and people tend to just go what's the range when it comes to EVs. But I think it is time to look beyond range and acceleration and look at other aspects a carmaker brings to the table.

    My wife loves her IS350F and won’t part with it unless it’s electric. This may be the car she needs.
    Plus the added bonus of being a Toyota, particularly a Lexus, can’t be underestimated.

    Watching your channel for the first time and liking your style. Very nice breakdown of your initial impression of the RZ!

    I want the RZ to also have the Rear Wheel Steering to help with sharp turns. If Lexus does not incorporate the Rear wheel steering in the next three years, I will write a letter to Toyota Motor Corporation suggesting to add rear wheel steering to the RZ I will order.

    So pricing is from A$122k to A$134k. Max power is 230kw and the Australian Lab testing range of 470km, meaning real world range more like 300km. Maximum DC fast charging only 150kw. So it has inherited many of the failed Toyota BZ4X model.

    In drone view the two colour looks fantastic, when the sun is shining however closer up its not exicting that why one colour is better especially that Ocean/ Sky blue colour.

    What a difference, all makers jumping to the EV wagon even risking customers lives (sorry hyundai). Toyota and Lexus come and do it truly innovating. Love it.

    This vehicle won’t sell well in the U.S due to its limited electric range.

    Not sure why it’s not in America, since the name Lexus was originally for US market. Scared of competing with Tesla, maybe? Toyota has been whining about it lately.

    The range and acceleration is complete garbage when compared to Tesla' SUVs and Kia's.

    • @wandidabula2726
      @wandidabula2726 Год назад +2

      Absolutely, but very few of us are racers and most people can survive with this car even if it had half the range it has for daily driving, between work and home.

    • @benjaminsmith2287
      @benjaminsmith2287 Год назад

      Whatever. Range isn't the only thing that matters. The implementation of steer by wire and the lack of pitching in hard braking and acceleration matters in making a car feel sophisticated. And maybe sophistication like this goes over some people's heads.
