The Roland Cloud version is closer in sound quality to actual JD-800, and it also has a deeper sound. Unlike JD-08, there is no unnatural emphasis on high frequencies, which I like. Moreover, it is much easier to create sounds, and there is no upper limit to the number of patch memories.
Do you actually have both the cloud version and the new JD-08 boutique to compares? I heard both are IDENTICAL and based on the EXACT same Zen engine, just in a different package??
@Xeraser tbh with anything new I'm more interested with simpler lower to midrange synth. Aside from that my last synth purchase were boss sy1000 Guitar synth is still a synth no 🤣
