Halfrican Beaute hi does your sclap hurt after using the blow dyer comb? Half of sclap has hair just like yours and the first and last time I used the blow dyer to blow out my hair was a disaster. My scalo was so tender I was a bit horrified at the thought of using it again. Maybe something like the simply striaght my might be easier to use. But I am scared of the pain I may have, and heat damage. Too many negatives.
Yes! Finally! Please note how she used products to moisturize/soften and protect her hair. Please, dont blow dry your hair with nothing on it. Heat opens up follicles with low porosity. Use that tension method! Put that cream moisturizer on it. Job well done!
Most stylist recommend not using any products when blow drying your hair before getting braids! It’s been such a struggle for me because my hair is too dry and it breaks!
@@nzingaa4152 them braiders would have to be mad cause braiding dry hair is a recipe for disaster. It's literally ruining people's hair or folks need to learn to moisturize before blow drying. Idk....i do my own hair at home but i see too many braiders braiding on dry hair and have seen videos of them refusing to braid moisturized hair cause they can't grip it. I've even seen where the refused to do a clients hair cause she aint want all that jam in it. It's hard outchea
I have thick 4C natural hair which is prone to tangling so washdays were a complete nightmare and I lost so much in breakage. I found a combination of your method completely by accident. I use the comb on the dryer and tension method with a detangler and that's been a miracle for me. Finger part the hair, then dry by starting from the bottom and gently work my way up the section causes the hair to detangle. Before it would take up to three hours to detangle and dry the hair. Now I do it in an hour maximum. The difference is amazing.
Girl I just blow dried my hair and it looks so good!!!! Thank you so much! The last time I blow dried it was last yearly and I did NOT know what I was doing! (I’ve only been natural for 18 months)
The Shea moisture saved my hair so much it’s transitioning on the left because I had heat damage but the right side especially the back ! My curls are so beautiful now ❤️❤️
I've noticed that you used a bandana to hold the dryer, which I'm assuming is because it gets so hot. I used to have the same problem. There's a Kiss Red handle-less dryer you can buy that stays cool, so you can use the comb without burning your hand. I love it!! I think you can get it at Target now for about $20, which is 15 bucks or so cheaper than when I bought mine a few years ago.
Thank you, This helped me a lot, next time I get cornrows I’m going to blow dry my hair before hand because the braiders are very rough with the blow dryer and brush and cause breakage.
You can protect your hair so much better by using a concentrator nozzle when using the tension method, it serves as a cushion between your hair and direct heat.
OMGG CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH ME BEING A 14 YEAR OLD GIRL ITA GETTING HARD TO ACTUALLY HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF MY HAIR AND BEING ABLE TO DP STYLES WITH IT YOU HELPED ALLOT THX
I love your results, thank you. I’m going to do this instead of flat ironing. I learned the hard way that I can’t just allow my coarse thick hair to dry naturally because it ends up looking like a rats nest and the ends look horrible. I’m positive that your technique will give me the results that I seek because I used to do something similar in the past and my hair was very manageable
Ugh that hair color is beautiful! Your hair is beautiful. I watched your video today because I’m gonna blow mine out, my hair has grown a lot and I’m so excited!
well for starters....your hair is beautiful and well taken care of before you started straightening it. I want to straighten my hair sometimes, but find it hard to maintain moisture. You do an amazing job!
Sis you are my biggest inspiration lookin back at your old video bc my hair is this long now and I feel like i have hope growing it to where you are at ,you did thattttttt!!!
I want to do this method but the thickness of my hair has me shooketh lol. I’ll start doing this and just stop half way ughh. But your hair is beautiful! I guess I’ll spend some time blow drying the proper way after my next wash
Great video. Do you press your hair after blow drying? How do you wear your hair which has helped it grow - Do you do Natural styles or do you wear it straight?
This is very helpful helped me to blow dry my hair for the first time very easily after switching to a smaller blow dryer than a much bigger one. My blow dryer comv was falling off, going to tie it next time.
Yess girl, yess girl, yess 😊🙌! Love the results, your hair is looking soo healthy (with the little exception of the little trim you said you needed) 😁🙌🙌. You better work that 😊! This was very helpful, I'm soo happy to have a tutorial from someone who has similar hair texture and curl pattern. Yess girl 😁😊🙌 #BeauandBeautegang #Teambothofyalllol -Signed your RUclips bestie (&yes I'm claiming myself lol 😁)
Hello, your video is awesome, I just got a new client with super curly hair and the first time I blow dryed and flar ironed her hair it took me almost 3 hours. Hopefully next time it goes much quicker using your method. Thank you
Thank you so much for making this video. This was very helpful to me. I'm thinking about blowing out my hair and I was concerned as to how to make it safely, so I really appreciate your dedication and time to make this video, it helped me a lot. God bless you!
I just blow dried mines I would say start in the front 2 sections for me I know the water keep rolling to the back of my head rewetting the roots a little and start at the top of the sectioned hair because it stops the dry hair from coming in contact with the wet hair and pin it “up”and start top to bottom top to bottom each section
Lmao, I've bought soo many things to protect my hand from the heat of the dryer and neverrr thought to just tie a band danna around it like you did. I have AT LEAST 8 silicone gloves. Lately I've just been putting a sock over my hand and holding the dryer. Definitely stealing your trick!
I can never get my ends straight. What am I doing wrong? Do I need a stronger blow drier? I have one I bought over a decade ago. You make it look so easy
I need help ! So I’m in 7th grade now In the beginning of 6th grade my hair was thick full healthy Mid back Length and I had a Huge puff ! On the first day I had my hair flat iron In the middle of 6th grade My hair was falling out a lot probably because I wore puffs to much but I need help To this day I feel bald head as hell please help me ! 🥺😩😭
How often do u blow dry your hair? I think I want to start blow drying mine every 2 weeks to retain length. I kept longer hair when I kept it straightened it so I'm thinking if my hair is blow dried often ill retain the length since its not getting the chance to tangle a lot and I won't have to comb & style it as much.
LONG TIME NO SEE!😩 I'VE MISSED MY #BEAUTEGANG!!! I'm bacccckkkkkkk!!!😘😬
Halfrican Beaute missed you too pretty ❤️❤️

@@ImDirtyDaninot the same and the braiders would really notice then.

Please what blow dryer is that? I’m about to get one and I don’t know which one to get. Yours looks perfect I like it.
