The thing I've noticed with online discourse, is that when non technical people talk about problems with ai/llms, they always talk about consciousness and what if they decide to turn on us or develop self preservation etc. and I feel like it's drowning out talk about the real problems (the copyright dataset question & industries facing large automation waves for example)
