C2C Crochet Blanket Made with Lion Brand Homespun Yarn 43" x 53"

This is the first C2C blanket I have ever crocheted. I learned how to make it from the Secret Yarnery RUclips Channel.
Blanket Size: 43" x 53"
Yarn Used: Lion Brand Homespun
Colors: Shaker, Hepple White, Blue Sky, and the last color is unknown because it did not have a label when I bought it from the thrift store.
Hook Size: K-6.5 mm
Yarn Used for the Border: Caron Simply Soft
Color: White
Hook Size: I-5.5 mm
**This Caron Simply Soft seemed thinner than it usually is.
Changes I made to the border: For the base round, I made three chains in between each single crochet instead of two because the yarn I was using for the border was much thinner than the yarn for the body of the blanket.
General amounts of yarn used:
3 skeins of blue sky
3 skeins of Hepple White
2 skeins of Shaker
After I ran out of the Shaker color, I wanted the blanket to be wider so I continued increasing the width of the blanket with the white.

Amanda, We do think alike.....I also was looking at it and thinking it would look great as a rug! I think the more narrow border with the thinner yarn give it that "ruglike" appearance. Thanks for your comment. I always appreciate your encouragement. :)
