This particular one would work very well for jumpsuit because its my most recent one.. concerning the one you made, maybe there was a mistake while you were drafting it out. You can try out this method and don’t forget that practice makes perfect🥰❤️❤️

For trouser crotch: Round hip divided by 4 plus 1 or 1.5 inches For jumpsuit crotch: Round hip divided by 4 plus 2 or 2.5 inches All this just depends on how fitted you want the crotch area to look
I normally divide my hip by 4 and add about 2.5 inches when making a jumpsuit. Or you can sit on a chair and measure from your waist down to the surface of the chair

It is better to put zipper on shoulder or under left arm in jumpsuits. This makes it easier to undo it yourself in the restroom.
But in a Plus size it won't pass easily especially when the fabric is not stretching

Sorry the 1.5 inches I mentioned must have been a mistake. You can make use of 1 inch

I use 13 for trouser not 13.5.

To get crotch length for jumpsuit, divide the round hip by 4, whatever you get add 2.5/3 inches to it
