Bro this man was talking British, African, Jamaican, & Arabic tryna figure out what was goin on lol😂
He is Nigerian British and Muslim, but grew with the yardies
If you're trying to figure out what he is saying he is not using the word in its literal self. If you notice he uses the word lick dem dong, which is Jamaican for hitting someone with a force.
And his English is excellent, too - his eloquence should put many English people to shame.
@@ruthmckay9086he is British!
Do you mean Bri ish? 🤣 Like the Boahowoah@@lisawest6355
"This man is prolific "😂😂
You just unlocked a memory 🤣🤣🤣 we were really saying these things as kids you know 😭🤣
I still remember when "beat" started to get used as slang for sex and one guy was talking about how his brother beat some guy's sister and they were laughing and I was confused af 😅🤣
Believe it or not, the definition of the word f*ck originally was quite similar to beat
Where l come from "beat" means three things..
1) Someone "fought" you and YOU LOST, i.e.;
"Yuh get "beat-up"!
2) Sex - "My man "beat me out" last night.
3) You look "beat" (tired)!
@@charissemodeste6489 You forgot the most important one: “I just beat my meat” (masturbation).
Words aren’t one dimensional
Beat, punch, nail, cover, piledrive, screw,...I might have about 50 names for sex
Craziest slang word for robbing someone I ever heard in my life 😂💀
Well, to be fair, it does suck to get robbed 😂
@@Lazarus-aap Right…
In the us it was licked for the longest time. You licked someone for their shoes etc. but then my generation came around and said that’s kinda sus, we started saying “hittin licks” instead.
Funny too cause you can blow a man and it means you shot him. Blowin sticks is shooting guns like wtf 😂
@@BigTrees4ever Nobody in America ever said they licked someone for anything 😂 people in the south say they “caught a lick” A lot of people describe someone getting shot as getting “Blown down” Sticks are assault rifles and that slang came from the south too. Blowin sticks? You’re literally making shit up now 😂 Hold on to that L real tight and keep it movin mate.
@@guiltyuntilproveninnocent.Blown down? More like blown away.
I remember working in a casino around the time this slang word was popular. 3 young men were playing on my table and kept losing. They had a friend a few tables away who asked them "yo! How is it der?". And one answered back "yoooo, my man's suckin!", to which I replied "sir! I'm doing no such thing!" 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sir im doing no such thing 🗣🤣
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
@YungAtzwhat? This person telling the story is the one who said "sir", they're not talking about someone else. And why is that story so unbelievable?
Slang be funny as hell!!! It’s one of the most entertaining things about traveling 😂
I've never heard suk man as a term to rob
@@Adam_K14 I’m not from the uk 🇬🇧 but it definitely an embarrassing slang
You must be a new millennium baby.
@@Adam_K14 The word is meant to be "sock" which means rob. Heard it plenty growing up in London
@@patrickgreen6242 millennials are… “typically being defined as people born from 1981 to 1996”…they’re getting older everyday 😅

As someone who’s born and raised in East London (30 years) this was actually spot on! 😂
Nah, this wasn't used in East was it?!?
@@sameo01 I don't remember for the life of me "Suck" being an east thing.
Never heard of you before, but this was great, I love seeing people get older and realise how ridiculous slang is, but then to do comedy about it in the perfect way is great, good work :)
I remember being confused when people started to use the word "bare" someone saying this man's got "bare money ". He actually meant "a lot of money " I thought he was saying I didn't have much money. It was all very confusing.
bare money makes you a target for sucking though
Same here, mr keith chegwin. May I also say, I love your channel. I too feel very strongly about Robert Dyas.
@@Basauri_48970 Why thank you
You know, here in Belgium, in the province of West-Flanders, there is a slang word that literally means the exact thing. It's the word 'bere', yet it's pronounced as [bear'uh]. Before you ask, this pronunciation doesn't make any sense according to the phonetic rules of the Flemish language 😅, but what's even crazier is that it's something that I think comes from the old regional dialect (at least, I think so, I'm from a different province😅), therefore it's something that not only youngsters say, but also some of the older generations will say it as well.
I think they mean "bare" as in how we sometimes use "raw" to describe something being potent or full of energy. Even though raw usually means uncooked or bare/unprotected
“Excuse me Mr….can I call you Mr?”😂
Why are you gay?
Love the reference to the Ugandan interviewer 😂
Why are you gay

Just found you - you are very funny my friend. I'll be seeing you live soon
Lmfao 😂😂😂 glad this popped up on my american feed
Looking at the audience I think you should've reminded them a few more times throughout the skit that sucked means rob and told them what lick man down means😂Half way through I think they may have forgotten the punchline and started to believe it meant what it doesn't😂😂😂
I don't know, I figured out lick meant beat and I'd never heard it used in this way before.
Lick man down means to physically hurt someone to a point where they’re not getting back up, or where they lost so badly that it a one sided beat down. That’s how nabil was using it
@@gloverdragon6854It doesn’t have to be that extreme.. For kids who got beat by their parents, they would say they got ‘licks’. Still said today
@@TheDestineyy you’re right on that if you say it how you are, getting licks is to take a beating, such as from your parents. However, there’s a difference between the phraseology and use of “lick man down” and getting “licks”. They imply different endings and situations. Thats the nuance of slang
Thank you kind sir😂..I was trying to figure out what the hell did he mean by suck in this context
Oi ... whoever you are....Ya Funnnnnnyy.... Proper..

"Cant be out here robbing people with a name like Charles" unless your other names are Mountbatten and Windsor, and the people in question are Indians 😂
Yep Charles really robbed the Indians, especially considering he wasn't born until a year after colonial rule in India ended
@sabretooth5404 lighten up it was a joke. He said Charles, so I thought of the king, which made me think of the royal family as a whole, which of course made me think of colonialism.
Hilarious fam... Geniously written
Such an elegant speaker , Nigerian influence for sure x

You should of used the other one also used in south "moist" 😂 to say some one is a nerd/soft person 😂
Not a South thing. Used all over London
@@keifer7813 yeah true
Suck was a south london slang term. Never really ever heard it outside of south.
@@gloverdragon6854I can confirm it’s made it’s way to the over side of London too. 😔😔😔southerners think everything is theirs.
@@officialshockstar I’m from east London and been all over west/north west london. I can confirm that suck was a south london slang word that did not cross over to other areas of London. Other areas would say “jack/jacked” for steal, especially east london. Certain areas of London sometimes do spawn off their own slang that stays in their parts, well at least it did before the proper social media era. For example, in north London they would say “shower/showa” “sho” to mean they’re that guy. Those types of words never really went out of north unless north London grime mcs would use them in their bars.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😅 It just keeps getting worse! 😅😅😅
