    The fox and racoon look sooo much better. I agree with your changes. The animals now look like the ones we have here in Maine too. I too join in on the word of the year. Last year mine was compassion. I haven't settle on a word this year.

    Knowledge is such a gift. Not sure if this will be okay for an answer because it’s my daughters. One student asked her what year she was born and of course they said wow you are really old. Next she said my mom was born in 1952 and a student popped up with She is older than dirt. He probably heard that at home too. I love when she calls me at night and has a story from her young students. Your stitching is amazing. I thank you so much for keeping me company and sharing your time.

      Yes it counts! Every year the students ask me how old are you. I always ask, well how old do you think I am and they say 16 or 21 lol. Of course I say, wow how did you know? Lol love their innocence and ignorance lol

    Happy New Year and congratulations on all your FFOS for last year. I saw the most beautiful rainbow yesterday You could make out all the colors and you saw the entire thing After all our rain that was a nice break Knowledge tells me you have to have rain before you can see a rainbow.

    I’m loving increasing my knowledge on cross stitch samplers. It’s so interesting. Kids say the sweetest things. My name is Sue and my husband is Bret. When my little nephew was 3 he started calling us Auntie Soup and Uncle Bread. So darn cute.

    Hi Sandi!! Happy New Year! So glad to see another video of yours. Love seeing all your projects. Thanks for trying my 2-day rotation. I hope you see how well it works in touching a lot of your projects. As for your question, I would not have finished the Lizzie Kate pattern after the two days I worked on it. I would carry it over to either the next month or one after that as long as it's for myself and not a present for someone that I need earlier. And because it's only just the words, you probably don't need two days to complete it. So you'll have an extra day to stitch on something else. I hope that was clear. I'm going to email and try to make a zoom call with you. I think that would be so much fun. Can't make this one, but maybe the end of the month. Happy stitching! Lori

      Okay great! I did not stitch it but put it in the rotation for next month. Its fun trying something new! I feel like its forcing me to calm down and not feel obligated to hurry up and finish it. So far I am loving this new way of stitching! Thanks for inspiring me

    Sandi, I had to look up the translation for the Jardin Prive pattern. It said “a rabbit in my garden.” Guess that makes sense. It’s a very cute pattern. All of your stitching is amazing. I don’t know how you do it, take care of your family and work. I’m retired and still don’t find a lot of time to stitch. 😂😂

    Knowledge is and amazing thing....I love to learn, I want to take all the classes and learn all the things....thanks for sharing....a funny thing that a child has say to me is that your real hair? ...my mom said it has to be....then he pulled on it and I screamed, and he just looked and me, then he yelled at his mom and said it real......after that I always keep my hair up and safe.....love seeing a rainbow, it's just cold and wet here...

    Thank you for sharing your beautiful work. What a sweet idea for the bday cards. Thank you! There was a young woman acting grouchy in the mall while my daughter, youngest granddaughter, (8 yrs old) and I were Christmas shopping in December. My granddaughter looked over at my daughter and I and said, “ Wow! What a Karen.” What a crack up! God Bless!

    Hi Sandi! Fantastic video (as usual!). I'm so glad that trading patterns worked for you too. I'm excited to stitch Snowy Petites. As you know, I run a child care in my home and one of my favorite stories is about a little boy who told me how much he loved the "lightening tattoos" on my legs. Unfortunately, I have no tattoos. He was referring to all the spider veins on my old lady legs!! Haha! Rainbow

    You are such an inspiration with all your finishes, Love Lori with Once upon a stitch, I hope your version of stitching on a 2 day rotation works for you. A few years ago my friend asked if I could look after her granddaughter while mom dad and my friend could go to an funeral it would be over night. When they asked her who she would like to stay with she said the fun crafty lady and they couldn't figure out who she was talking about, ha ha she wanted to come stay with me because I always did crafts with her and she loved that. knowledge Happy stitching Patty

    I too was a teacher before retirement and prior to the appropriate age, one student said “ You remind me of my grandmother.” Truth hurts sometimes. I need to acquire wisdom and knowledge about fancy floss. I am new to cross stitch again. Do you rinse your floss before stitching? Seemed strange. Tell me what you do. Please

    • @stitchinwithsandi
      @stitchinwithsandi  Год назад

      Welcome to stitching! No I do not rinse my floss, especially because overdyed threads can bleed.

    Gosh I’m sure over the 18 years I had in home daycare, many things were said. But I just can’t remember anything.
    A story … one little girl would bring her ‘two children’ 😉 with her to daycare. Her mom said she’d talk to them getting into the car and when she’d get to my door she would be talking to them… ‘now honey’… she was a sweet little gal❤
    I’d love to join your zoom. Email sent
