Sandi, bless your heart, what an experience, so thankful that you are healing. I pray for your peace and comfort to return. Thank you for sharing, and I love that wreathe over your shoulder, so pretty.
I’m sorry to hear about your horrible experience. I hope your knee heals quickly. And emotionally you are strong again. I loved seeing your beautiful stitching. Such great finishes and that stand up bunny is super cute.
Wow, Sandi, so many finishes and great progress. Also great advice! I'll be taking a class too. So glad you were aware of your surroundings and thank you for sharing!
Sandi, so glad to see you're back. I love all of your stitching, especially the family quaker idea. So, so sorry to hear about your experience. I pray for healing for body and soul.
Hello Sandi,I just found your channel. Great video, love your positivity, courage and your stitching.I am so sorry you had that horrible experience on the walk.Hope you heal fast and your stitching brings you comfort.
Sandi, Loved seeing all your awesome finishes. OMG I am so glad that you are okay and that you were close enough to that mall parking lot so scary! hugs happy stitching Patty
Sandi, I am sorry you had that experience while trying to get yourself into good health. Thankfully, you were safe from an attack. Good idea to plan for the future to stay safe. I love all you do for our stitching community. I had been missing you. Glad you are back!
What a scary thing to have happen to you! Thank goodness you were aware of your surroundings and reacted as quickly as you did. Thank goodness you are healing from the injury. Loved seeing your finishes & WIPS. Take care!
Family Quakers….what an awesome idea! I ordered the Quaker eggs pattern from 1 2 3 and they actually sent an original card stocking pattern…I was very pleased. The pictures of the swap items are fabulous! You are in my thoughts and prayers always…I love walking too but only do it outside if my husband can be with me. Take care Sandi.
Oh Sandi, that is just horrible what happened to you! Thank heaven you are recovering. And also thank you for the reminder about always being aware of our surroundings and your other helpful tips. Hope they catch the creep ! Take care and good luck with your recovery. I absolutely love your videos, love from AZ❤
Hi Sandi I had a feeling something was wrong, when you hadn't posted. I am so glad you followed your instinct and ran. I hope you feel better soon and they catch the person. So glad to see all your finishes and wips. I loved that bunny. Hope fully your leg gets better soon. Take care of yourself. ❤ Sandi 🍁(Canada) .
Hi Sandi! I was just really thinking about you yesterday and voila!😊 I’m glad you like Mouse Potato. She’s hilarious! I love that bunny! It is adorable! You did such a great job on that finish! Just want to say, carry mace! You can get that product in many different forms in a sporting goods store or online. I’m so glad you’re ok. Hope your knee heals quickly. Thx for the video. Enjoyed all the stitching and finishes!❤
Oh Sandi, that is so scary! Thank goodness you ran as fast as you did. We all need to listen to our intuition. I hope your leg feels better soon 🤗. Your stitching is so beautiful and all the smalls from your exchange are so nice.
OMGoodness Sandi! I had to go back and view this after your heads-up in your current video because I missed it!! I am sooooo glad you are on the mend! How terrifying 😮 keep getting stronger, so sirry this happened to you!!
Sandy. I’m so sorry that happened. I’m thankful that you were not hurt. I had a similar incident happen to me years ago, so I can relate. When I walk now I carry pepper spray and my phone and an alert button. The police did teach me about using the pepper spray. I’m praying for you! On a happier note I love to see all of your beautiful projects and your haul. God bless!
If you’re allowed to in your area, carry pepper GEL, not pepper SPRAY. The gel works better against miscreants (so I have heard.) My pink pepper gel cannister is really scary, lol. 🤣
Oh Sandi, I am so sorry for what happened to you. I can’t even imagine how scary that was. I am so glad that you are ok. I hope that your knee feels better soon. I am so happy that you are back doing flosstube. I’ve really missed your videos. I will be praying for quick healing for you. Enjoy the rest of your spring break and welcome back!
I am glad to see you are back. I’m so sorry for what you went through. I try to walk two miles a day since I was diagnosed with diabetes. So far it’s controlled with diet and exercise. I walk with my dog in the neighborhood but try to be aware of my surroundings. One of my fears is running into some creepy person which happens occasionally. So when I was listening to your story I was stressing out. I’m relieved for you that you got away from the guy. You may have gotten hurt but in the end you got away from him. Thank goodness! On a brighter note, I always enjoy seeing your finishes. They are beautiful. I’m glad you mentioned Grand Country Quilts. I live in Costa Mesa and am curious about their cross stitch supplies as well as their quilting fabric. We used to have two cross stitch stores close by but they closed. I looked up how long it would take to drive there and it’s not too bad. My daughter moved to Temecula and I could make a weekend out of visiting her and visiting the shop. That could be fun. Looking forward to your next video and prayers for a speedy recovery.
Thank you. Grand Country Quilts is great! We are going to be planning a meet and greet there soon. Also we have a stitchy day there on the 3rd and 4th Saturday of the month from 10-3. It's a great way to connect with other stitchers!
Oh Sandi, I have learned to pray for many of you with RUclips channels. You will definitely be on my prayer list. I am so sorry for all your trials. May God grant you a piece that can only come through Jesus. God Bless you and your loved ones. Love all of your stitching pieces. We have a lot of similar taste. Can’t wait for the new exchange.
So nice to see you back Sandi. What a horrifying thing you went through. Like you said, you were very lucky to have gotten away from that man. We have a nice park in our area also but I won’t go there alone. A woman was murdered in another park in our area and they are still looking for the suspect. They think he attacked someone in CA because of DNA testing but don’t know who he is. This world is so scary anymore. Anyway….. glad you’re okay and back to doing your videos. Have a great week and I hope your knee heals fast.
That is so scary! I’m so sorry! I do walk alone around our neighborhood some mornings. I need to start texting my husband before I leave and when I get back so he knows at least. Such a good reminder to always be aware. I’m glad your health is improving! Loved seeing your projects! Will you be at Big Bear this weekend? I imagine not since you didn’t mention it.
You were about to say something about finishing the bunny ... related to seam allowance....when kitty needed out....could you revisit that and finish the thought? Thx!
Sandi, your experience is so scary! Hope your knee heals soon. Where can I get the DMC conversion for Sunnyside Sampler by TheDrawn Thread? I have the pattern and would prefer to stitch it on DMC. Thanks
Oh Sandi that is so horrible and frightening!!!! Maybe carry some pepper spray? You’ve really had a rough couple months and I pray everything gets better. I can’t help but wonder if you would’ve stopped and talked to the man with the kids if he could’ve helped in anyway of identifying that guy. Just a thought. Thankful you are safe.
I’m so glad that you are safe and recovering ❤️🩹 sending prayers your way. Enjoyed seeing all your beautiful 🤩 ffo’s and finishes. Have a wonderful weekend and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Thank you so much!

That is a scary situation. And it’s happening alot to women in parks! I know Dick’s Sporting Goods carries them but probably cheaper w/Amazon.
Oh Sandi, that is so scary! Thank goodness you ran as fast as you did. We all need to listen to our intuition. I hope your leg feels better soon 🤗. Your stitching is so beautiful and all the smalls from your exchange are so nice.
Thank you, I hope it stops hurting soon and I can ditch the cane!

No, I don't go to Big Bear when chains are needed. Im sure its beautiful though.
Your channel just showed up on my feed. I enjoyed your video. You had a couple of pretty scary experiences. I'm glad you, and the other lady are okay.
Thank you so much!
Oh Sandi, I am so grateful that you’re ok. How horrible.
Thank you
You were about to say something about finishing the bunny ... related to seam allowance....when kitty needed out....could you revisit that and finish the thought? Thx!
I think it was, I used a quarter inch seam allowance except I snipped closer to the seam for the ear to avoid too much bulk
Sandi, your experience is so scary! Hope your knee heals soon.
Where can I get the DMC conversion for Sunnyside Sampler by TheDrawn Thread? I have the pattern and would prefer to stitch it on DMC. Thanks
I went to The Drawn Thread website. They had several floss conversions. I had to change one floss to the next until I got to dmc. It took awhile.
I'm so sorry you went through such a terrifying experience. I hope the physical therapy helps your leg get stronger. Keep up the beautiful stitching!!
Thank you
