Most welcome! And congrats on the pulls!😄 well membership levels does not affect turnaround times. The service levels are the ones that will determine that. In my package, I submitted 2 different service levels. • 50 cards at Value TCG ($10 / card) • 5 cards at Regular ($50 / card) Package was sent to PSA 7th of Dec 2020. Thanks for the video. What happens if by accident u guessed the wrong pricing of a card and send it in? Will they charge u the difference of what they think it is worth, and have to pay before they send it back? Also i hear the sleaves or top loaders are required, otherwise they can charge costs to put them in a toploader.
Hey dont mention it!😊 For your question, its not so much of guessing the pricing of the graded card. Its more of inspecting the cards and getting a smaller range estimate of what grades the card might get then doin market research of what the graded version of the card normally go for and submitting it under the appropriate service level that covers the value. Of course, one advice i would give is that eventhough you're fairly certain of what grade your card might get, always assume it will get 1 grade lower. If in the event the card get graded and the max declared value is determined by them to be exceeding the service level that you submitted the card under, they will drop you an email after they're done grading and will inform you that they will need to upcharge you for that card. If you're not agreeable to the upcharge, they will ship the card back to you ungraded. In terms of sleeves and toploaders, it is required for you to first penny sleeve your card, then it is recommended that you use a card saver 1 instead of a toploader.

Congratulations!😄 well it depends what you're planning to do with it once you get it graded. Collect? Or Resell? Actually tbh, even if you wanted to Resell it, you'd still be able to make a good profit if it gets a 10. Anything other than a 10 wouldnt make it worth it imo😅
Because you have to also keep in mind that more are getting pulled as we speak. And the prices are dropping to a more stable point. So by the time you get it back from grading, its price wouldnt be what it is now😊
@@PokeSomm plan on keeping it. Although I can't sleep at night with it in just a penny sleeve 🤣 so I think I'll order those card saver 1 things for piece of mind. Thanks for the reply.

Hey there Nevine! Actually the pricing in this video is already outdated. Right after this video was made, there was a price increase for the service levels and the Bulk level was increased to $20. And yes the pricing shown in the table is per card😊
For now yes you can😊 not sure until when but for now yes. Do remember to use team packs if you are using toploaders to avoid having your cards fall out of the toploaders during shipment or handling.
Yes you will need to create an account to do your submission but you do not need the membership for service levels starting from Regular (50usd) and above😊
I would recommend sending it under the Regular service level first which covers up to 999usd. Reason being, we are not professional graders and what we think, might not be what the graders think😊 a psa 9's value falls under the Regular service level so if you zard does, for some reason, get a 9 instead, then you dont lose much. If you were to submit it at a higher service level, and it got a 9, you'd be losing money. If, however, you submit it at Regular service level and it did get a 10, PSA will upcharge you accordingly. So no worries on that part. But just for your info, a psa 10 xy evolutions charizard would fall under the Super Express category which covers up to 4,999usd value and costs 200usd a card😊
It really depends on the customs of your country I guess. At this point of time, I'm not too clear on this as well. As I'm based in Macau, so far from my understanding, there is no tax here😄 currently trying to obtain more input on this from other collectors from other countries other than the States.
@@sonyxperia656 in Malaysia, so far from what I understand, any Pokemon products coming in from overseas will most likely be charged 30-32% customs tax
hello i am not actually nevine i am her son.sorry...and i d'ont really have 150$ to spend on grading a gold card zacian milo full art traner card.Is there annother way to grade my cards without spending that much money...thank you.
Hi there!😊 yes unfortunately PSA is closed at the moment for their cheaper service levels. If you're urgently looking to grade those cards, I would recommend looking into grading them with one of two other grading companies called SGC and HGA. They still have affordable service levels and are still open for submission the last I checked😊
You do not need a membership to submit to PSA😊 you will only need to create an account on their website to start your submission. Without the membership however, you will only have access to the Regular service level (50usd a card) as your cheapest service level option. With the membership, the cheapest service level option will be Value TCG (10usd a card)
@@alifrava what I did was I tried to input my address both via computer and through my phone and somehow one of the two worked. Perhaps you can try it first and see if it works😊
Crazy with how much they charge for grading based on the value of the card, they still charged for insured shipping. How does grading a psa 3 card cost less than psa 10?
Yes it is. And with the price increases, kt getting even crazier😅 thought I do like the fact that they actually increased the max declared value for the bulk level from 199uss to 499usd. So there are really pros and cons to the recent update. Will have a video coming out tomorrow on what are the new updates that took place or will be taking place😊
@@PokeSomm I felt that one. I've been putting off grading a card (Michael Jordan rookie) and just looked at high high the prices are now. Granted the card is worth somewhere between $3k and $10k, but that's pretty pricy. If somehow it got a 9, the upcharge will be even higher.
@@tdizzlegames2070 oh yes. I made the same mistake as well. Was supposed to have a submission go out mid Feb. Over 60 cards. Still not out til now and now it'll cost me double😅
@@PokeSomm Ouch, same boat. I'm torn, I want the highest grade possible (I think it's likely a 7), but if it gets a 9 then I'm looking at a $1000 or more cost to get it graded. Would've been half that a couple months ago.
@@tdizzlegames2070 well honestly i dont have much experience with assessing sports cards but I'd recommend getting some expert opinion on your card's condition and a possible grade before snding it in. And always leave the benefit of doubt and choose a lower service level so you wont lose money incase you choose a higher level and it comes back a lower than expected grade. If you choose a lower level and it comes back higher then it would hurt to pay the upcharge, if there's any😊
Hi Somm! I had a question about inputting the expected value of the card, here is the scenario: If I submit a card and I expect it to get PSA 9 which is valued at only $150 but it ends up getting a PSA 10 and that cards value is $600 (not realistic but just for good measure) will PSA not grade it or will they adjust the price they charge me since a card of that value does not belong in the bulk submission category? thanks in advance for the help!
Hey John! Thats a great question😊 technically speaking, PSA should upcharge you but there are instances whereby they don't. Like grading, getting upcharged may depend on luck as well😄 let me give you an example on my experience. If you watch my PSA returns video, I had 2 pikachus that came back as 10's. Accordingly to market value at that time, they were each worth at least 1.3-1.4k usd. Thing is, they were both submitted under the regular level sub which only covers up to a value of 999usd. But I wasn't upcharged. Hence the reason why I say it depends slightly on luck as well😊
So it's gonna be 200 dollars to grade a card even if the card value is way lower than 200 after the grade? I'm talking about just getting 1 graded card.
So basically for the bulk service level you will require a minimum of 10 cards now after the recent update PSA had😊 but the price has risen to 20usd a card so it is still the same at 200usd minimum for the bulk service however the max value declared has risen to 499usd.
Thanks. The psa page had me overwhelmed when I went into it without knowing anything. Your video really breaks it down. I appreciate it. You got yourself a new sub.
@@YT_GrantGotYou haha yes it can be intimidating. Had me quite a bit during my 1st submission as well😂 hey you're most welcome and thank you so much for the support!
So far i've only gotten my Regular submissions back and it took about 1 and a half months😊 the Bulk submission is still there and has been in the stage 4 (grading) level for more than 2 mths now.
You will need to fill in an Airway Bill (a form that has carbon copies, one of which will be attached to your package) with sender (you) and receiver (PSA) details as well as the details of the item and type of FedEx shipment (I used FedEx International Priority)😊 PSA details that I used Recipient's name : PSA Company : PSA Phone : (800) 325-1121 Address : 1610, E.St.Andrew Place, Suite 150, Santa Ana, Ca State : California Country : United States Postal Code : 92705 Email : info@psacard.com For cost of shipment, based on my experience, I shipped from Macau to US and it cost me about almost rm400 (about usd100)
Worth is only determined by the collector in my opinion😊 some people grade to collect and others grade to sell. But if you were askin in terms of market value itself, then yes, it is worth grading.
@@TitoPopoy haha thats awesome! I really love the idea of exposing the youngins to Pokemon. I myself started collecting at the age of 7 but stopepd for over 15yrs before entering again 4 mths back. PokeSomm thanks Man. I just started collecting now that I am 31. Hahaha I really wanted to collect cards when I was a kid but I just don’t have the capacity to buy cards...
Well before, they used the post it tabs to make it easier for the graders to pull the card out of the card savers. But now apparently you do not need to do so anymore. So no need to use post it tabs anymore. Just sleeve your cards and put them into card savers😄 For separating the submissions, yes that we need to do. Basically we have to make it as easy as possible for the grader to identify the submissions. Even the order of the cards has to be exactly as your submission form. If not, they will charge you an extra service fee😅 so if you are sending in 2 different submissions within the same package, you have to have 2 different cardboard sandwiches.
i pulled some crazy cards out of the 25th anniversary packs i was wanting to get them graded but am having a issue with the process would i put 199 on all the cards for the declared value ? also do i put 199 if they are good cards that are worth grading ??
Hey Raiden!😊 At the moment all service levels below Express are still closed for new submissions thus you will not be able to submit your cards under those levels just yet. For the Express service level that is currently open for submissions costs $150 a card not including return shipping and covers a max declared value of 2499 per card.

@@ShadowHumor for the max declared value, its more of an 'insurance' kind of thing so lets say for example you're submitting under the bulk service level (Value TCG), it covers up to 199usd per card. @@doubleapokemon351 haha yeah it does take forever🤣 I see however that submitting them yourself will take slightly less time than submitting them through a middleman. The grading fees is the same for everyone😊 the only difference would be the annual membership fees (79usd for us that are located outside of the States), FedEx shipping rates (you can check it on FedEx's website) as well as the return shipping from PSA (which you will know towards the end of filling the submission form).
Just as a general idea, i shipped from Macau. These were my rough costs Shipping to PSA via FedEx - 100usd Return shipping from PSA •Value TCG (50 cards) - 80usd •Regular (5 cards) - 40usd
Sekarang, turnaround time PSA yang paling lama (beberapa bulan). Beckett turnaround time plak, kalau tak silap, from few weeks sampai sebulan ke dua bulan. • Harga, depends on value of card. Tapi kalau tak silap, Beckett lebih mahal sikit. • Grading plak, seems like Beckett lebih strict kalau banding dengan PSA.
What happens if you put 199$ in declared value but they end up evaluating your card to be worth let's say 300$ ? Do they tell you ? What happens in that case :o
Its sort of a grey area in my opinion😅 as the value of cards fluctuate in the market real time. A good example would be my Hyper Rare Pikachu that came back a Psa 10. I submitted it under the Regular service level (which covers up to 999usd max value). And at the time that it completed grading, the market value for a Psa 10 of that card was around 1.4k usd. But surprisingly I did not get upcharged. So I would say part of whether you'll get upcharged or not will depend on your luck😅
In the case that if they have to upcharge you, they will send you an email stating which cards they'll need to upcharge you. The list will contain all the other cards in the submission together with their grades. They will ask you if you're agreeable to the upcharge, if you're not, they will send that particular card back to you ungraded😄
@@PokeSomm Oh thanks for the info ! And lastly, in case of an upcharge, is it like a big upcharge or is it a reasonnable amount like I don't know let's say 20-30$ more ? Haha
@@karazimsabour7899 most welcome!😊 oh no, the upcharge basically means they'll 'upgrade' the service level for that particular card. Meaning for example, your card was submitted under Bulk that covers up to 499usd a card, but your card ends up being valued more and they choose to upcharge you, they'll upcharge you to a level that has a max value that covers the value of your card. Lets say the card is worth about 699usd and they choose to upcharge you, they'll charge you the Regular service level instead of Bulk. So instead of gettin charged 20usd a card for Bulk, they will now charge you 100usd instead for Regular😊

Thanks man!😊 for return shipping, it will be calculated when you're almost towards the end of filling up the submission form. PSA will give you 3 options for return shipping. I just chose Insured Shipping and the fee will be calculated and added on to the total amount that you will need to pay. Do note that this total amount to be paid will only be charged upon completion of your card grading😊
Pulled the charizard from shining fates is it worth the money to get it graded?

I might be wrong, but does it say not to cover the barcode with tape when attaching it to the outside of the box? Just because it might affect the scanner from reading barcode? Just want to be 100% sure before I send mine in.
It says to not obscure the barcode with tape that are not see through. Clear tape is fine😊
for the tcg 20 cards min in the service level section whene you get your cards grated, dose it cost 10$ per card or 10$ for all the 20 cards
Hey there Nevine! Actually the pricing in this video is already outdated. Right after this video was made, there was a price increase for the service levels and the Bulk level was increased to $20. And yes the pricing shown in the table is per card😊
This is very detail and well done instruction, thank u
Can I use top loader sleeves instead of card saver ones?
For now yes you can😊 not sure until when but for now yes. Do remember to use team packs if you are using toploaders to avoid having your cards fall out of the toploaders during shipment or handling.

@@CCGDude hey most welcome!😊 and thank you very much for the support!
What would my service level be if I think my xy Holo charizard is a 10?
Thanks for the information (: looks like prices went up today for PSA lol
@@misfit4264 most welcome! Yes they have! I will be coming up with an update video later tonight😄
Hi for return shipping will you be taxed on the cards return value?
It really depends on the customs of your country I guess. At this point of time, I'm not too clear on this as well. As I'm based in Macau, so far from my understanding, there is no tax here😄 currently trying to obtain more input on this from other collectors from other countries other than the States.

hello i am not actually nevine i am her son.sorry...and i d'ont really have 150$ to spend on grading a gold card zacian milo full art traner card.Is there annother way to grade my cards without spending that much money...thank you.
Do i need a membership to ship outside of the us?
You do not need a membership to submit to PSA😊 you will only need to create an account on their website to start your submission. Without the membership however, you will only have access to the Regular service level (50usd a card) as your cheapest service level option. With the membership, the cheapest service level option will be Value TCG (10usd a card)

Did u say u sending macau? I'm planning to send a submission by myself from Hong Kong
Hey there Daniel! Yes i'm currently based in Macau so I actually sent my cards to PSA from Macau😊 just next to you. Haha
So it's gonna be 200 dollars to grade a card even if the card value is way lower than 200 after the grade? I'm talking about just getting 1 graded card.
Or is it a minimum of 20 cards you can send in?
So basically for the bulk service level you will require a minimum of 10 cards now after the recent update PSA had😊 but the price has risen to 20usd a card so it is still the same at 200usd minimum for the bulk service however the max value declared has risen to 499usd.
Thanks. The psa page had me overwhelmed when I went into it without knowing anything. Your video really breaks it down. I appreciate it. You got yourself a new sub.

Is it worth grading a charizard vmax? I just pulled one this week. Im from philippines
Worth is only determined by the collector in my opinion😊 some people grade to collect and others grade to sell. But if you were askin in terms of market value itself, then yes, it is worth grading.
PokeSomm planning to keep it... maybe give it to my dayghter when she’s in right age to collect. Hahaah btw, she’s one. 🤣
@@TitoPopoy haha thats awesome! I really love the idea of exposing the youngins to Pokemon. I myself started collecting at the age of 7 but stopepd for over 15yrs before entering again 4 mths back. Hey bro, so you using FedEx right? One shot pay 2 way post fees? Thanks😁
I saw ur answer from reply other comment d, thanks bro
Its just one way to them😊 the return shipping will be settled by PSA and charged during the submission. Most welcome!
why do people use tabs to label each card? are post it tabs required too? what about separating each submission with cardboard as required in 2016
Well before, they used the post it tabs to make it easier for the graders to pull the card out of the card savers. But now apparently you do not need to do so anymore. So no need to use post it tabs anymore. Just sleeve your cards and put them into card savers😄
For separating the submissions, yes that we need to do.
@@PokeSomm thanks, are penny sleeves required or are any sleeve ok?
@@FireMarioSonic penny sleeve your card first and then insert it into a card saver😊

Hey Raiden!😊 At the moment all service levels below Express are still closed for new submissions thus you will not be able to submit your cards under those levels just yet. For the Express service level that is currently open for submissions costs $150 a card not including return shipping and covers a max declared value of 2499 per card.

@@ethank9403 at the moment, the cheapest company to grade with would be CGC. Though I do see some friends already experiencing minor delays in their subs. @@PokeSomm oh ok! I have 1 more question since I am new, If there is a little of dust on your card savers then will it affect the grade? I try to clean it but everyday it gets dustier
@@ethank9403 its totally fine actually due to the fact that card savers attract some bit of static i believe so any bit of dust will definitely stick themselves to them. It doesnt affect the grade. Just do one sweep through of the outer part before sending your cards in😊

May I know if it's the max declared value that you're referring to?😊 if yes, perhaps I can assist with clearing up any doubt or confusion you may have.
Do I type each individual card prices in.
@@ShadowHumor for the max declared value, its more of an 'insurance' kind of thing so lets say for example you're submitting under the bulk service level (Value TCG), it covers up to 199usd per card. My advice would be to just fill up the max declared value of every card to the maximum of the service level, which, in this example, would be 199usd😊 no need to fret too much on this aspect.

Bezanya

• PSA grading takde sub grades. Beckett ada.
• Turnaround time (masa yang diambil untuk kad grading dan dihantar balik) berbeza jugak.

Haha
@@PokeSomm Sorry for my questions this is my first time and I wanna make sure to understand everything haha
