    1 VERY IMPORTANT thing to take note guys! When you pack your cards for shipping, make sure to arrange them based on the submission form list, in the order that you filled up the form with the 1st card in the list being on the top!😊 forgot to mention that.

      @@misaelgandulla5610 you'd have to fill up a waybill (shipping form) with your personal details as well as the details of the receiver, which in this case, is PSA. After that, you will need to pay FedEx based on their calculation for the shipping😊

      @@MeloenTube Hey there Anno!😊 yes you will need to personally pay for shipping your cards to PSA. Its basically like sending packages to anyone else. Do note that you will only need to personally pay for shipping TO THEM. The return shipping for when they complete the grading has already been included when you fill up the submission form and is taken care of by them.

    • @PokeSomm

      When you drop the package off at Fedex to be shipped to PSA, you need to fill up a form called a WayBill. In that form, you will need to fill in your own particulars as well as the receiver's particulars (company name, address, country, phone etc.)😄

    Thank you for this video I just pulled a Rainbow Charizard Vmax and Rainbow Pikachu vmax and need them graded. What is you turn around time for your cards some people are saying 50+ days even with platinum membership.

    • @PokeSomm
      @PokeSomm  3 года назад +2

      Most welcome! And congrats on the pulls!😄 well membership levels does not affect turnaround times. The service levels are the ones that will determine that. In my package, I submitted 2 different service levels.
      • 50 cards at Value TCG ($10 / card)
      • 5 cards at Regular ($50 / card)
      Package was sent to PSA 7th of Dec 2020. Yesterday (15th Jan 2021), I received an email stating my 5 cards at Regular level ($50 / card) has already completed grading and has been shipped back to me. So the only turnaround time I'm certain of is the Regular service level (a little over 1 mth)😊

    Thanks for the video. What happens if by accident u guessed the wrong pricing of a card and send it in? Will they charge u the difference of what they think it is worth, and have to pay before they send it back?
    Also i hear the sleaves or top loaders are required, otherwise they can charge costs to put them in a toploader.

    • @PokeSomm
      @PokeSomm  3 года назад

      Hey dont mention it!😊
      For your question, its not so much of guessing the pricing of the graded card. Its more of inspecting the cards and getting a smaller range estimate of what grades the card might get then doin market research of what the graded version of the card normally go for and submitting it under the appropriate service level that covers the value. Of course, one advice i would give is that eventhough you're fairly certain of what grade your card might get, always assume it will get 1 grade lower.
      If in the event the card get graded and the max declared value is determined by them to be exceeding the service level that you submitted the card under, they will drop you an email after they're done grading and will inform you that they will need to upcharge you for that card. Meaning they will charge you a higher service level pricing for that card. If you're agreeable to it, they will proceed. If you're not agreeable to the upcharge, they will ship the card back to you ungraded.
      In terms of sleeves and toploaders, it is required for you to first penny sleeve your card, then it is recommended that you use a card saver 1 instead of a toploader.

    • @NL_the_Godfather
      @NL_the_Godfather 3 года назад +1

      @@PokeSomm ok thanks for getting back to me. So at least if u send in a expensive card without doing the right research u have a choice and still get it back. That’s good to know in case ur not expecting to have to pay additional cost.
      I’ve also heard a few months ago there was a huge delay of almost 1 year to get ur card back. But it seems they are catching up now. As it can take alot of time to grade all the cards if people send alot of them in.

    • @PokeSomm
      @PokeSomm  3 года назад

      @@NL_the_Godfather dont mention it at all!😊 i cant remember however if they will still charge you for the card (initial submitted service level pricing) even if you choose not to accept the upcharge though. Gotta check on that.
      And yes they are still really backed on their submission logs but they're making very good progress and imo they might be able to consider re-opening the lower levels by early next year i guess😊

      @PokeSomm  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for the reminder!😄 it was pretty late around 6am when I recorded this video so I missed it out unfortunately. Haha. In regards to your questions though, if you do click the No Qualifiers button and turns out it does have a qualifier, then your card will still be graded, but it will be dropped 1-2 grades roughly apparently. Cause how it works is your card for example fulfills all the requirements for say..a PSA 8 but it is Miscut, so what PSA does is they'll still give it PSA 8 but with the Qualifier (MC) on the label as well. It will of course significantly affect the value of the card unfortunately. But if you click the no qualifier for this card in the example and they find the Miscut qualifier, they'll immediately grade it lower like maybe PSA 6 and without the qualifier on the label.

    • @PokeSomm
      @PokeSomm  3 года назад +1

      I would recommend sending it under the Regular service level first which covers up to 999usd. Reason being, we are not professional graders and what we think, might not be what the graders think😊 a psa 9's value falls under the Regular service level so if you zard does, for some reason, get a 9 instead, then you dont lose much. If you were to submit it at a higher service level, and it got a 9, you'd be losing money. If, however, you submit it at Regular service level and it did get a 10, PSA will upcharge you accordingly. So no worries on that part. But just for your info, a psa 10 xy evolutions charizard would fall under the Super Express category which covers up to 4,999usd value and costs 200usd a card😊

      Hey John! Thats a great question😊 technically speaking, PSA should upcharge you but there are instances whereby they don't. Like grading, getting upcharged may depend on luck as well😄 let me give you an example on my experience. If you watch my PSA returns video, I had 2 pikachus that came back as 10's. Accordingly to market value at that time, they were each worth at least 1.3-1.4k usd. Thing is, they were both submitted under the regular level sub which only covers up to a value of 999usd. why do people use tabs to label each card? are post it tabs required too? what about separating each submission with cardboard as required in 2016

    • @PokeSomm
      @PokeSomm  3 года назад

      Well before, they used the post it tabs to make it easier for the graders to pull the card out of the card savers. But now apparently you do not need to do so anymore. So no need to use post it tabs anymore. Just sleeve your cards and put them into card savers😄
      For separating the submissions, yes that we need to do. Basically we have to make it as easy as possible for the grader to identify the submissions. Even the order of the cards has to be exactly as your submission form. If not, they will charge you an extra service fee😅 so if you are sending in 2 different submissions within the same package, you have to have 2 different cardboard sandwiches.

    • @PokeSomm
      @PokeSomm  3 года назад +1

      Its sort of a grey area in my opinion😅 as the value of cards fluctuate in the market real time. A good example would be my Hyper Rare Pikachu that came back a Psa 10. I submitted it under the Regular service level (which covers up to 999usd max value). And at the time that it completed grading, the market value for a Psa 10 of that card was around 1.4k usd. But surprisingly I did not get upcharged. So I would say part of whether you'll get upcharged or not will depend on your luck😅

    • @PokeSomm
      @PokeSomm  3 года назад +1

      In the case that if they have to upcharge you, they will send you an email stating which cards they'll need to upcharge you. They will ask you if you're agreeable to the upcharge, if you're not, they will send that particular card back to you ungraded😄

      @@karazimsabour7899 most welcome!😊 oh no, the upcharge basically means they'll 'upgrade' the service level for that particular card. Meaning for example, your card was submitted under Bulk that covers up to 499usd a card, but your card ends up being valued more and they choose to upcharge you, they'll upcharge you to a level that has a max value that covers the value of your card. Lets say the card is worth about 699usd and they choose to upcharge you, they'll charge you the Regular service level instead of Bulk. So instead of gettin charged 20usd a card for Bulk, they will now charge you 100usd instead for Regular😊
