This is one of the most beautiful notebook/journals I’ve ever seen. I’m looking forward to making one for my granddaughter. If it turns out half as beautiful as yours, I’ll love making more ❤
Shellie, I just wanted to give you an update on how much I have loved making these one year later! The only reason I even attempted making these is because you stated that it was suitable for beginners. I have made so many as gift items that everyone has LOVED and have sold over 50 of them over the year. I strongly encourage anyone who thinks they would not be able to make this to give it a try! It is one of my top 10 tutorials of all time! I have been crafting for over 35 years. I am so grateful to you for sharing this tutorial! Judy from Arizona 😊🌵
Judy, thank you for posting this! I love Shellie's tutorials so much and am just about finished with the Hortensia large album. I have been putting my books on the market and have sold some and given most of them away as birthday presents! If you wouldn't mind telling me, what do you charge for the notebooks? I know the paper is pretty expensive along with the pads and pencils. I would like to start making these next! Cancel Reply
This probably is one of the best tutorials I have ever seen for the notepad. You were very clear you did not talk fast and you explained everything so well. I applaud you on this tutorial. = one thing that I did not find on your page is the PDF for the measurements and materials
Just made this for a friend’s birthday tomorrow. It’s gorgeous, I’ve decided to make several more for gifts as well as a couple for myself. Thank you for the tutorial 💕
I made one of these with the same paper and it turned out Absolutely Beautiful...Shellie you are a fabulous teacher, your tutorial was very easy to follow..love all your albums..I will be making more...I love the Stamperia Papers..they are all gorgeous !...Susan from BC Canada
These are fun to make and also makes the perfect gift for any occasion too! TFS Shellie, this will inspire everyone to try to make some if they've never made it before.
I just came across your tutorials I'm I'm love. You are so awesome and very easy to follow. I use a lot of stamperia paper. I'm going to make this. Thank you for the awesome video.
You have just solved my Christmas present problems. I have so much excess decorative paper and card stock that I can now use this up to make very attractive and useful little gifts. Thank you so much.
Just found your channel. I’ve been looking for this exact tutorial! Your instructions, are excellent, your printable was easy to found as you put the date in your description, etc! I’m a new subscriber and will be watching many of your videos❣️🤗💖🦋
Thank you Shellie for this beginner friendly tutorial. I only attempted once to use chip board and had a problem covering the chipboard with cardstock. It was a disaster. But now I found your instructional video that takes it step by step, at a slower pace, which enables me to follow. I am excited to make this folio.
I made something of this nature for 4 13 year old girls. I’m going to make this one for me. I need at least 2 of them. Thank you for the great tutorial.
I just made a bunch of these for friends over the past few months. But I put a fold out on the left for a few pockets and even on a few I put a yearly planner under the fold out.
I also wrap mine in fabric. They get a lot of use so I wanted to make sure they wouldn't rip over time. But I love the Hortensia paper so I have to make this one. Love your tutorials Shelley, I watch all of them. Keep them coming.
Hi Thank you so much for this tutorial , I just found you and so happy I did I would love to make this but for some reason I can't download your PDF instructions is there any way you can resend them or put them up again , thank you I can't wait to make this
