Yes, his band members are all friends and the percussionist is fantastic and when Dimash jams with his band members at the end of concerts, they are great together because Dimash plays drums, along with 6 other instruments, so they go to town when playing together!

Natural range: E2 - F#6 4.2 octaves
*Full range: G0 - D8 7.7 octaves
To put it in context:
He sings lower than bass in Opera. The lowest note is usually C2....and higher longer sustained whistle note.
Total Dimash range is G0-D8. By the way, a D8 is a couple of keys past the end of a piano.
Who is Dimash? Only the singer of the millennia. From Kazakhstan, beginning his singing career at age 5 (he's 29 now), Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. His range extends from the top of the bass register to the highest notes of the coloratura soprano and whistle register. His first digital music album "ID" went platinum in only 37 seconds after release, and 3x platinum in only one hour, and 5x platinum in only one day on Chinese music platforms In December 2019, he made his US debut in New York at the Barclays Center. Dears (those he calls his fans) traveled from 68 different countries, 43 states & 2 US territories, and was sold out. Now writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology/ Composing, received all his degrees with honors while simultaneously filling arenas and maintaining his performing career, a first! He has a bachelors degree in vocals, a master's degree in composition and is about to complete his PhD in musicology this year.
Dimash sings in 14 languages, plays 7+ musical instruments, is a composer, an amazing vocalist, patriot, philanthropist and, despite his popularity and talent, is a very warm and humble person.
He (Dimash) has begun working with legendary Grammy-winning producer/composer Walter Afanasieff to produce a new song which will be released for principally the US market in the next couple of months. Afanasieff described Dimash as “the greatest voice I have ever heard,” after their first studio session and contract meeting on 22 November 2019. That is high praise when you consider the list of artists for which he has composed and produced, including Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Richard Marx, Whitney Houston, Thalía, Lionel Richie, Luther Vandross, George Benson, Destiny's Child, Kenny G, Michael Bolton, Toni Braxton, Andrea Bocelli, Johnny Mathis, Kenny Loggins, Barbra Streisand, Christina Aguilera, Ricky Martin, Leona Lewis and Idina Menzel. Perhaps his admiration is focused on the fact that Dimash can sing in 14 different languages and has a vocal range of 7.7 octaves, with his highest note being a D8 (off the piano keyboard and the third highest note ever sung by a male)!
In addition to Afanasieff, the consensus opinions of the world’s most famous vocal coaches have ranked Dimash as their top pick for the greatest male vocalist of all time for the THIRD YEAR in a row. Famous coaches such as Ken Tamplin, Seth Riggs, and Tara Simon all agree on one thing, DImash is a once in a CENTURY talent and is the best singer on the planet! Perhaps, this is why the Prima Soprano of the World’s most important Opera in Milan, “La Scala” after hearing Dimash sing described him as, “the Farinelli of the 21st Century.” Note that Dimash is only 29 years-old and has not even reached the prime of his voice.
I call, Dimash the singer of the millennia, as no-one can do what he does in so many genres of music. And, I've yet to find anyone in history who can do what he does.

I found Demash in 2016; he has only grown since then! My husband and I love him so much that we dipped into our life savings to go see him in NY. It took days to feel grounded again. I can’t explain why or how, but going to this event brought a very deep intrinsic change in me. There are typically 20-40 countries and cultures that present themselves as “Dears”. His otherworldly persona speaks a language of love,hope, and inclusion that all people understand, and desire. If you ever have the opportunity to go to one of concerts, do whatever you have to do to go. It’s nice to be a part of something that is so much bigger than yourself ❣️
It's so nice to see you react to Dimash again after so long, I still remember your old reactions! Imagine, now the dears society is completely devastated like a hen's yard :D we Hungarian dears especially because Dimash will give a solo concert in Budapest in May,, But what is even bigger news is that he travelled here to Budapest a week ago, at the invitation of Placido Domingo, who is the main patron of a classical music competition, TV recordings will begin tomorrow, where Dimash will be a member of the jury, and a duet with Domingo is on the horizon in the final, Can you imagine this? Unfortunately, we will have to wait, because it will only be broadcast in early spring and then it will be possible to put it on the Internet

Great reaction and thank you for taking the opportunity to share him with as many people as you can at that event! I LOVE Iliya and really all of Dimash's band. There's a reason that Dimash makes sure to acknowledge his team at every performance because he knows how much they work with him to help him perform at his best. He has had several people work with him who have then branched off, or artists who work with him regularly but certainly are known for their own work as well, like Olzhas and Jordan.
He is continuing the "Stranger" tour with a concert in Hong Kong this month and another coming in Budapest in May! I'm hoping we'll get him back in the States sooner rather than later. Love from Oregon!

The unique thing about Dimash is his ability to have multiple genres in one song moving smoothly from one to the next so the song flows like any other except we might have heard Opera, Rock, Pop, Jazz & Rap. It’s crazy wild & us Dears love it. I’d love to see this guy react to Sinful Passion with English subtitles. I think he would enjoy the ending. But, a very romantic song.

Both of his parents are singers his mom being an opera singer and very popular in their country. He started studying music at the age of five. He has an eight octave range and has been known to sing in 12 different languages. He speaks five different languages, and plays five different instruments. His performances are mesmerizing and to watch any of his performances is a full body experience! He is so humble and kind to be such a world-renowned artist. Every performance seems to feature the percussionist more than the other players, which i find very amusing. I have a friend who looks like him so it is doubly memorable. The triangle somehow makes it into almost every video. Maybe one of the cameramen has a crush? Or the editor? 😂🤣😂🤣😂

All Dimash musicians and backing vocal singers have a very stablished careers. Rassul is an awarded musical actor, Zarina is a vocal leader of a Jazz band. Dimash works only with the best and they stay with him for years. He takes a half of an hour in the end of his concerts to guarantee each one of them have their solo on the stage. And most of the time he gives a special attention to the percussionist...
The coolest thing I saw Dimash do was when he surprised Rassul, making him singing one whole solo song (a tradicional song of the etnia Rassul belongs) on the stage while he went to the band to play the piano for him (nobody knew he will do that, only Dimash could play that song for Rassul). I never watched a singer do that: not just let the backing vocal sing alone on the stage (that is quite common when the singer need to get out of stage to change outfits, for example), but play the piano to accompany the backing vocal to make sure he would have the attention and appreciation he deserves. The percussion guy is very famous in Russia. I think he has RUclips channel where he did solo concert playing multiple instruments... at the same time 😮 Dimash’s team are not ordinary musicians.

Correction: Many of us have not had/will not have the opportunity to see him live. We don't know that he introduces every band member individually at the end of a concert. We see youtube videos where he will thank the band at the end of a performance. Or we see interviews where he talks about his band.

@@lindah3803 @thewarriorforever is correct. There are quite a few videos on RUclips of his concerts where he does indeed individually introduce his back up singers and each member of his band. He also gives a shoutout, by name, to many others not on the stage who helped put the concert together, including his arranger, the director, his family, etc. He never takes any member of his team for granted.
