I'm glad I got to see how much room you have in that storage bay because I think we'd definitely have kept our Lectric bikes if we had that. The newer, lighter model would be perfect for that bay, along with all the extra toys!! And don't you worry, we did get to include him for just a second on the third, final video here!
On second thought, I'm one of those people that appreciates having more room in the bathroom, so I would probably go for the Quantum LF31 at 7:40... Are most of the Class C RV's that you've seen on a Ford E 450 Chassy ?
That's interesting, we see that opposite because we're so rarely in the bathroom! Very funny how everyone has slightly different priorities! I don't blame you though, that Quantum is pretty decent though I very much hate the radius showers. You may not, but definitely go walk in one and spin around a few times to see if it's a good fit! Almost all chassis available are the Ford, and I suspect that Ford is offering more deals for upfitters. There are a few differences, though I know some people prefer the Ford, others prefer the Chevy. Myself, I'm on Team Ford, so huge bias there! 😂
Great info, great video... At 3:40 into the video, I like that Entegra, is that the same model that you guys have now ? Where you have problems with leaks ... I wonder, if you never extend the slides ( just leave them in )... Would you still have leaking problems ? I would take out one side of the dinette, so I can move the table out, have more room and not feel like a Sardine squished in there... It would just be me living in the RV. I own my house outright, no mortgage, the plan is eventually to rent my house to a family, move into an RV, and have the rental income cover my living expenses. I'm a 48 yo guy, I'm ready to retire !!! I'm not sure that would be a financially responsible decision though... At 4:15, that viewing angle for the TV is perfect ! I love that you don't have to look up. At 5:40 into the video, that is more storage than I would need, but for a Lectric or Ebike, I think you might have to fold it up to get it to fit...
Thanks!! I believe that's the Odyssey 30Z, we have the Esteem 29V! As for the leak, we ONLY have problems with that slide in, funny enough. If the slide stays out, no leak, and that's what's most frustrating because we just don't really care for the slide to be out if it doesn't have to be, and yet we're forced to have it out. being ready to retire and no real debt, that's the dream!! For a solo traveler or tiny lifer of sorts, the size of these class Cs is more than enough! You just have to decide whether you can deal with the materials of the cabinetry and other things we've had going on with our rig, of course. I wouldn't recommend these motorhomes if only for that reason, because it's not IF water hits the cabinetry, but WHEN! Yep, perfect angle for the TV, storage is pretty dang good, but absolutely, you would need to fold your bike!
Oh I know it. Between the two, I'd choose the Entegra hands down! The floors seem nicer in the Entegras, Thor always seems to throw in a random step up or down in inconvenient places.Possibly for more storage underneath, though I haven't confirmed.
By the way, did you get any push back from RV salesmen ? Did anyone come up to you and ask you to stop recording and doing video of all the different RV units ?
Nope! Not a single one. In fairness, I also chatted with our buddy Gabe there, but I don't think he gave everyone a heads up or anything like that. These guys know that someone sharing their dealership and RV offerings is just good business!

The Thor Quantum LF31 layout looks close to the Entegra 31F but also doesn’t at the same time. Some aspects of it I like but others I hate. 🤷♂️
