I agree that what Joyner came up with, though I was a few years late, were some perspective-changing master-class art pieces. Songs that showed what an intellect the man possesses, and how that can be translated to the pen. I've always heard 'old' joyner compared to eminem, for some reason, and, to be honest, when joyner got in his bag he made movies on a level I don't think most rappers in the game have or could achieve. The current joyner, since he's on my playlist already, and I'm the type of person that only listened to a few artists I genuinely like, his hit-making ability carries a whole new chapter.
