    Thanks for the tip Zach, I've been trying to figure out my grip the last 2 years and even took few courses. Unfortunatelly, the instrutors were trying to fix me and never talked about the grip which I find the most important thing to start with!

    What a great tip! For some time I have been feeling that my grip feels not together. This simple tip to set the hands feels great. Can't wait to try it on the course.

    Thanks for the great video! Grip is the number 1 killer. I also love Adam Scotts grip trick and so few instructors talk about it. This has been a real game changer for me in getting more consistent. I LOVE this trick. Thank you for showing this!!!

    I dont see many instructors explaining that the pressure applied by the wrists should be an extension of the pressure applied by the trail elbow should be an extension of the pressure applied by the torso an extension of the hips etc feet ,
    All lead by the fingers to bring the face square THROUGH impact .
    Its all been dismantled into p’s to confuse .
    Its one action with one goal and the hands rule .

    Why would we grip the club with the left wrist extended when it’s not extended at impact 🤔

    • @ZachAllenGolf
      @ZachAllenGolf  10 месяцев назад

      99.9% of all grips are extended at address even Bryson DeChambeaus
      Plus it’s good to move into the right position.

    Hi Zach, I'm sorry but I don't get it. I don't see the difference between what you are explaning and a strong grip.

    Golf instruction can be confusing as the GOAT Jack Nicklaus says he puts his left hand in his Palm and hits with his right hand. Perhaps it depends on the size of hand & fingers, he also liked to fade it.

      Jack had Little tiny hands, the most important thing about hitting the ball,is cracking the whip at the bottom, the release towards the target.
      I caddie at Pro Ams,the one thing you notice, the pros are really QUIET at the bottom, the arms almost stop, then the wrists release, the WHIPLASH OR CRACK,then the force carries them to the high finish.
      Zach is a great coach, his videos are for mid handicapped golfers ,more than beginning golfer's.

      More of an aberration than the rule.

    The reason for all the bad shots is we really dont know how the tool works, therefore how our hands and body should work and no idea whats going on through impact. None of it is ever explained properly. We are taught body positions and thats basically ruined a generation of golfers.
    Nobody would ever teach a kid baseball like that. Teach us like we are little kids. If we knew how the tool works, nobody would have grip issues. Thats a symptom, not a root cause. Have you ever heard someone ask how to grip a hammer? No, because its obvious how to use the tool
