They functioned exactly like compressed water, and not much so as ice. Malachite had ice because Jasper is hard headed, and that was confirmed by someone who works on the show, but I don't remember who

If paddy has the same sort of elemental powers as Sapphire, then a fusion w paddy and lapis might use ice but think they’re using water. This was more of a funny head canon i came up w running on little to no sleep, so it probably sounds silly i kno lollo

Padparadscha sapphires are associated with flowers, specifically, the aquatic lotus blossom. While aquatic lotus blossoms are indeed aquatic, padparadscha sapphires aren't associated with water, but rather the flower itself. Maybe Padparadscha has the potential to have some flower power (or florakinesis if you want to be technical) like how Sapphire controls ice (aka cryokinesis). Again, I love your headcanon, but it's not very likely

Ooooh, I'm loving this. I work for a jewelry store, and there are so many different types of tones for stones that its glorious to see a bright red garnet shown :)
I feel like this fusion would be hot-headed but really nice and would go out of their way to do anything for their friends and when things go wrong or someone doesn't cooperate they get frustrated and scared that things won't work out right and get really loud and out of control and just start doing things completely on their own and end up getting themselves hurt. This is so beautiful I love your art and how you designed the fusion
I absolutely adore almost everything about your fusions. The colors, the clothing, the poses, it's all so well done and neatly drawn and over the past few months your art has certainly improved with these! My only critique is that you don't seem to do as many even limbed fusions anymore. And I understand if thats just you're style- I dont mind extra limbs at all I just wish that you'd more often draw fusions with four arms, two on one side, two on the other, just more symmetry in general. Other than that though they're fantastic. Keep up the amazing work. c:

ps: i was also thinking about her powers and about what you said like how they could have their “fire power” combined so i came up with this: since padparadscha has some kind of present vision, have that third arm work as an aiming extremity?? and then punch/shoot fire with the goblets with more effectiveness?? idk i’m super sleepy right now but that’s kind of what i was thinking about. again love the design AND THAT BOW IN HER HEAD IS SO PRETTY
i feel like she'd be absolutely awesome at adapting in a fight. once she sees an attack once, she's able to recognize when its going to happen again and counteract it in the future!
Now that Sapphire dipped out on Ruby for a bit, Padparadscha using her abilities to help find Sapphire could be a possibility, even though it is unlikely(and a Ruby+Padparadscha fusion even less likely).
She reminds me of Princess Peach and Pinkie Pie. Princess Peach is rather emotional. Heck, I think I saw a game once where you play using Peach's emotions or whatevs. And Pinkie comes from her cheery demeanor. ANYWAYYYY, I'd have to say you did a good job improvising on her outfit. I can see both gems in the fusion. I'll give you an A+.
I love this fusion so much! And as for the review: My friend floofhips ( on Tumblr ) who is an amazing designer gave me a few tips a while ago and id thought you'd like to hear. Firstly, they say to never use a color only once in your design unless the design calls for it or you want to direct attention to said area. Secondly, have consistencies in your design; take this fusion as an example, let's look at the rims of the boots, an example of a consistency would be to use that feature again maybe you could add it to the rims of the gloves or sleeves. Another example of a consistency would be to emphasize the heart symbol, maybe put one in the center of the bow, maybe make the pants hear print too. The third tip is to have consistencies...... in the siloette! One example of this is Sapphire, she has poofy/roundish sleeves and a poofy/rounded skirt. And lastly, this is a quite common one but: Look at references!! Plus it helps to give designs a theme! It can be a figure ( Pearls: Ballerinas, Blue Diamond: Ghost ), a culture ( Blue Diamond: Indian, Sapphire: 1800s European ) they can even be references to pop culture ( Padparadscha: Princess Daisy ). And don't forget, HAVE FUN!! 💕💕
This fusion can be canon after the latest episodes. Maybe after sapphire left, ruby and Steven go to the off colors for giving them the news about pink diamond and ruby fuses with padparadscha to see where sapphire went.
I’d like to think that coupling pads future vision, like our regular Garnet, would mean it changes. So maybe with Ruby’s fighting, it could be a second glance at what happened so it could be improved immediately.
Her right gauntlet (the one we can see the heart) seems a little bigger than the other one, and odd? But appart from that, great job and those colors are wonderful, i admire your skills at lineart, keep up!
