    new idea. make a cube of some size out of solid tungsten and just sticker it. like have a speedcube core and just make the pieces out of tungsten

      unfortunately tungsten is incredibly hard and thus expensive to machine

    They need to make special weighted exercise cubes, where you can get them with the average weights of different dumbbells

    Damn, that cube is beautifull.
    If you want to go any heavier, you need to partner with some smelting or machining channel. A pure tungsten cube may be less suprisingly heavy, but I guess at least it would look cool. You could even do some alloys, so it's not a force cube.

      would be interesting, but expensive, to see a machining company/channel construct a full tungsten cube (including the core). Or at least a mostly tungsten cube (including the core). That would be crazy heavy

    So you effectivly made a pocket payload cube. Like something you can weigh down your documents with in the office and it looks stylish and its actualy functional. Its actualy more usefull then you think!

    For those wondering, there are 6 elements denser than tungsten.
    Plutonium which is made in nuclear reactors
    Neptunium which decays away very fast, half of its gone in 2 days
    Rhenium which is 5 times rarer than gold
    Platinum which is about as rare as gold
    Iridium is 5 times rarer than gold
    And osmium which is also 5 times rarer than gold
    So yeah I don't think anyone's beating this
    (I got this info from Google so may be wrong, stuffs definintly rare though)

      Platinum is more rare than gold.
      A general rule is the higher on the table, the rarer, with exceptions.

    Oh, Z3Cubing we have a challenge for you:
    You should make a completely functional edible cube.
    Other RUclipsrs have made cubes from chocolate or vegetables but they all seem to use plastic cores from regular cubes. You should make one that is 100% edible. Including the the core!

    The 4x4 can alde be filled but you need old one because tis made with sphirical core and not so long pices so it possible.

    Tungsten has the same density as gold. So it is the cheapest way. Only some precious metals like platinum are denser.

    For what its worth, 4lb is about a pound lighter than your typical longsword.
    Imagine holding a full size knight's longsword, putting it down, and then picking up an innocuous 2x2... and the cube is heavier lol

      osmium can oxides and become osmium tetroxide, it is toxic and volatile
