The scale might have some magnetic pieces inside of it behind the plate, which could cause the cube to get attracted towards the scale, skewing the results. But honestly that cube is quite absurd and I love it.
@@AbhijitK13 they're not talking about the scale itself being made of metal, but about possible metal parts below the scale, which would definitely generate a downward force that makes the cube seem heavier than it actually is
To make a cube with even stronger magnets, you could use one of the upscaled cubes (I used a qiyi 9cm, but I also recommend the new meilong 9cm), and there's a lot more space for even more magnets.
I really like the way youre making your videos, straight to the point, great explanation, great talking, no unnecessary information, I really enjoy watching!
You should’ve tried M moves for the last U perm. I really wanted to see how insanely difficult M moves would be to execute as the magnetic strength would be twice as strong as the outer layers.
Besides the positively crazy creative ideas and very impressive challanges I also absolutely love the narration. I think I need a t-shirt with something along the lines of "Go away or I'll use my Terrifying Brick of Magnets!"
I did try to magnetize my SpeedCube with the Magnets that I can buy at the store (Diameter 6mm, Thickness 2.5mm) And When I tried to turn it after magnetizing, I felt they were stronger than I thoght. Before watching this video, I thought I had put the strongest magnets that I can think of, But after watching this video, I realized that he used a much, much stronger one. And now I know that he made the strongest magnets in a Rubik's Cube. Keep up the good work, Z3Cubing!
Did someone though about making an impossible cube were every magnets are repelling one another, it would be such a tedious task to just make a move as nothing would want to stay aligned. Quite hilarious, but definitely interesting in terms of speed hard cubing
Remember when you made that cube that could complete 50 turns in one flick? I wonder if you could get that number even higher by reversing the magnets in this cube and making them repel each other at both 0 and 45 degree turns.
Can you get tungsten powder? Because that might be the best way to fill it and make it both the heaviest cube and the hardest to turn that still works. Also, you should weight it on the scale sitting on top of a brick or something else thick enough to keep the magnetism away from the scale because it could be affecting the copper circuitry of the electronics in the scale and causing it to misread the actual weight. Possibly a sturdy cardboard box could work, but either way, remember to use tare before setting the cube on top.
Imagine how strong your hands would be if you would train speedcubing on this cube and got time under 20 seconds and one day showing on the tournaments with this cube impressing everyone
2:33 when i was setting up a maglev wrm 2021 i was putting the parts of the centers into a bowl thing and when i put the 2nd magnet in the 2 magnets attracted together and the force of attraction broke them both so kids dont do it
would the orientation of the magnets not need to be taken into account? Because of polarity, some of the magnets may deflect from each other where you wouldn't want them to right?
Just like a normal magnetic speedcube, you do have to be careful to have all the edge magnets in one orientation and the corner magnets in the opposite orientation, so they always attract. It gets weird in this case because the magnets are so large that they start interacting in weird ways (side of edge magnets attracting to other edges, etc).
The scale might have some magnetic pieces inside of it behind the plate, which could cause the cube to get attracted towards the scale, skewing the results. But honestly that cube is quite absurd and I love it.
its just the top thats magnetic so it doesn't matter much if at all
nope, that doesnt matter, draw a free body diagram (that consists of all the forces acting on all the bodies) and youll see why
@@AbhijitK13 they're not talking about the scale itself being made of metal, but about possible metal parts below the scale, which would definitely generate a downward force that makes the cube seem heavier than it actually is
I double checked with the cube offset from the scale, and the original reading was spot on!
@@ttmfndng201ahh you're right, that would add weight
Solving that cube looked like watching a stop motion video
You could fill up the extra space with tungsten and tighten the cube as much as possible for a lot of friction

He only wants the magnetic click
I'm not watching much cubing content these days but Z3 makes some of the more interesting videos on cubing. Thank you

Z3cubing better do this
I think with the extra room,he can fit more magnets into the center piece to attract to the edge piece like in the Valk elite m

Can confirm; M moves are very hard. xD

I am so loving your experiences and ideas !
I also feel that middle position in my unmodified magnetic speedcube. It's weak and it doesn't impact solving in any way, but I do slightly feel it
Imagine how hard a slice move would be on that!
Level : impossible
Imagine walking by, with earring in, and a rubix cube comes flying out of no where at you.
😂😂
Looks like an exercise cube 🏋️
The 45° angle would definitely be interesting in a mixup cube...
Turning looks like a early Rubik's brand cube.
You are honestly the most hard working cubing tuber i have ever seen. I have been watching your stuff since way way way back when.
Great video as always
THE LEGENDARY U1/2 HAS BEEN BORN
That 45 degree click makes me need this as a cutter cube.
Love this, magnets are fun. I am surprised the superglue holds them in place.

Great Job man! You know how you said that you wanted to combine the tungsten and the magnets well what if you did! and again great job!
cubing technology has gone full circle, we're back to wrist turning haha
It looks like your cube is lagging.
It would be awesome if you done the strongest maglev ball core cube. It would be like a maglev train inside a cube.
Him solving the cube felt like i was watching 15 frames per sec motion picture
yo the fast algorithm you used in the begining is great for testing a cube out you should make a tutorial for it!🤩

Just What I've Been Looking For!
Those magnets have separation anxiety 😂
wow this vid was awesome!
btw alex, i heard you just went to big comp, and i'm just wondering if you made a vlog on it?

You should do this with MagLev and magnetic core as well.
I just imagine the maglev exploding lol
This is a perfect cube to show algorithms to a newbie cuber due the slow movement
that cube is at a superposition between rough and smooth turning
that was a pretty crazy idea to do, but was fun to watch ))))))
My friend: bro, i need stronger magnet in my speedcube!

I double-checked with the cube offset from the scale, and the original weight was spot on!
Now make a fused cube by the heaviest and strongest magnets cubes
Z3CUBING IS BACK!!!!!
The sound is satisfying
I feel like you did a voice over
But when you pulled the magnets apart i like to think you were just trying to add emphasis on how strong they were 😂
You should do this on the cube that you can shape shift half way in the turn (the 3x3 with larger edge pieces idk what it’s called)
next we NEED 4x4 strongest magnetic cube!!
Imagine how strong your hands would be if you would train speedcubing on this cube and got time under 20 seconds and one day showing on the tournaments with this cube impressing everyone
with the middle 45 degree click you could make something like the oskar & witeden mixup cube
i wonder if you didnt use the middle edge magnet if it would behave more naturally or more poppy with the corners attracting
"Keep away from metal"
Proceeds to put it near phone and weighing scale
Cubehead AND z3 uploading at the same time?!?!

"hey man what cube are you using?"
"the electronic evaporator"

if the cubicle made a z3 cubing cube, they have to do one of the mods he did on a cube
“How much Ping does Your cube have?“
“Yes“
Wow, that must have been so much work. How'd you do that?
i wonder if you could make a rubiks cube out of a solid magnet, like: you take a solid cube that is a magnet, and turn it into a rubiks cube
damn, that solve was like stop-motion video
Cool vid
Next up, a cube on fire. And one that oozes slime.

I think we all want that cube now
The fact that no one brought up the v-cube 6 is crazy
You should take the core out and make it only held together by the magnet strength!
This cube looks like it is in 2 frames per second lmao
Z3cubing realy likes "the worlds..."

"Hey bro, can i try your rubixs cube?"

Did that gouge in the thumb meat of your right hand come from trying to deal with the magnets? Or was that a non-magnet related injury?
That was just from trying to break them apart, as shown on camera!
