British Standard or Whitworth. The 5/8 is one flat side, one flat side is 1/2 inch use Whitworth 1/2 inch
It’s a refrigeration wrench for flare fittings it’s measure stamped at size of line ran not nut size
@@dmurphy5348 Cool thank you I didn't know that's what it was for that makes more sense. 👍
I ha e a couple of those brand wrenches. I'll have to check if they are marked like that
I’ve had a couple of these in my toolbox for 20 years and never knew why they were stamped like that… Thank you!
Nut Size ❤
@@trainnerd3029Cool I have had a few other comments and I think they are correct with the size being the Witworth British standard
its the side of the threads/ fitting not the size of the actually head of the fastener
Some old wrench didn't measure the head of the bolt but the threaded part of the bolt. So that 1/2 is actually 3/4 .
Whitworth
That's what size bolts they are used for.
I can’t understand a damn word on this
Or British standard
@@aaronpolekoff3311 ohh I think you are right I looked that up and found Withworth sizes that are the same as this thank you
Made in China
