Good lord. Learn to use screen space. Probably excellent info, but who would know by looking? Half the screen was noise and the demo section was nearly hidden. If you're going to present, try presentation methods.
the definition of LBBB is ABSENCE of Q waves in V5, V6, I It is not NOT always there Q waves SHOULDN`T be there by definition (written correctly but oral explanation wasn't as clear) Because the septum is depolarized by Purkinje fibers from the left Bundle so the septal Q waves V5/V6 (R waves V1/V2) are missing characteristically (which means there might be exceptions but for understanding it hopefully helps)
Thanks for breaking down the ecg for a r class IV DCM paitent recently caught and diagnosed with left bundle branch block at a consult with my EP MD for a new dual chamber ICD and got a 150ms delay in my left side firing asked my EP to check my ECG for any reason why I would be getting worn out easily and he did and missed something my cardiovascular and heart failure specialists missed until asked to go over the EKGS from the last 5 years
Can someone please help me? I noticed the feeling of skipped beats frequently every day for weeks to a couple months and run the 2 lead ECG on Apple watch often. I noticed the standard PVC and told my doctor, who then ran an EKG. I didn’t have any ectopic beats during the EKG so it looked fine. I had an echocardiogram as a precaution and they said my heart looked good. The ectopics stopped for a few weeks then came back again. This time I noticed a different morphology of the QRS complex on the Apple watch ecg. It showed the notched R wave but I can’t tell if the T wave is inverted or not. Either way, I’m going crazy with this feeling in my chest, afraid I have a blocked artery or structural damage somewhere. Wouldn’t the echocardiogram show if I have a blockage or other damage?? What should I do next? Have another EKG? Talk to a cardiologist? Thanks
The echo would only see any structural damage ie valve walls and contacractility. It would notbsee the nerve conduction system. The ekg is only snapshit of your heart’s conduction system. You can have a holter monitoring system
Was in for TURP last week. The ecg tech said I have lbbb. I told them ai haven’t had any heart issues that I knew of. Dr said they have to figure out b4 surgery. Tech told me lay still, no deep breathes, no talking.couple minutes later, she said I am fine. Surgery went on with no problems. Thinking about this I realized I had been short of breath lately. Then the gastro Dr tells me I have ischemic colitis! Blood not getting to where it needs to be. Guess I need to see a cardiologist now. Getting old sucks!

at 7 minutes, you mentioned an initial negative deflection, though to diagnose a LBBB there must be absent Q waves in leads I, V5, and V6

I experienced 2-4 LBBB spikes within 30secs of a ECG scan after contracting the Detla Variant.
But it doesn’t happen all the time, it’s random.
