Just branched over from MICU to CSICU and going through the orientation process. Today my manager actually recommended your channel to me. I had to let her know that I’ve lived on your videos for the past few years. But it says a lot about your way of teaching as my manager is close to retiring and she is still using your videos to learn. Awesome teacher! Thank you.
That’s so cool to hear! Hope you are enjoying the change. It’s a whole different world. It was quite the change for me when I went from trauma ICU TO CVICU. I loved it though! Best of luck to you and tell your manager I said hi and thank you! ❤️😊
I am a student nurse extern in ICU and your content is so helpful. I bought a subscription to your website and printed out every single note page and filled a 4 inch binder, subcategorized just like your website. Whatever issue my patients are having I pull out the relevant notes so I can study and understand better and ask better questions. I'm learning so much and the nurses training me are impressed. Thank you for your dedication
Hey there! First off thanks so much for this awesome comment as well as your support on the website. I was going to say that'd be a lot of printouts! haha Its slow going, but the new version of the notes are more consolidated and easier on the eyes and finding the info quick. But I'm really glad to know the videos (and notes) are helping you much along the way. Best of luck to you!
Amazing videos as always, thank you. One small comment, i suspect the turn signal analogy is specific to left hand drive vehicles as for right hand its the other other way round (up for left turn, down for right). In case anyone got momentarily confused like myself.
@@ICUAdvantage You better correct it since you are not British. As an American learner, I was very confused and could not continue the lesson as I doubted myself. Thanks!
Loving your videos. Will you do a video of random ECG walkthroughs for a variety of cases, AF, STEMI, VT, complete block, WPW? That would be amazing if so. Thanks for the content.
By far one of, if not the best explanation on ECG that I have seen on RUclips Here this. The turn signal analogy is great. But it only works for left hand drive vehicles - and I assume the presenter is of US a background. lol But I can drive both left and right hand drive, so it does not matter. But I found it funny how location can change such an important interpretation of a scenario. I will just put my mind in right hand drive mode lol. Love the series I will still use it when teaching. Jamaicans drive anything lol 😉
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your comment. I've heard from many people now about the turn signal. I had NO idea, or at least didn't even really think about it. But yes, I am in the US so it works here haha. Glad you enjoyed it though!
@@ICUAdvantage i figured. no problem. Your video saved me for my ACLS course last Friday. I have been a doctor for 5 years, and med school 5 years (basically 10 years to get this - thought heart and bundle branch block was the same because I was scared of ECG). I was last week years old when i could understand heart blocks from your video lol. Now I am doing bundle branch blocks. So you know the channel got subscribed and will be sharing and spreading the word.

Great videos for a refresher; currently a student paramedic, I appreciate your work!
