Mt Albert Mustangs

The Mt Albert Mustangs. An American Football Auckland dynasty.
They waltzed into the NZGFA league in 1989 after the core of the Roskill Rams moved onto a new team, and apart from a few losses, were virtually unbeatable in their 7 year stretch.
Founded by Brian Rawhiti. Played in and won 7 straight Kiwi Bowls. A feat that may never be matched. Called it quits after the 1995 season.
A legendary era in NZ American Football. Raised the standard of football in NZ. An awesome family team of usos and brothers.

You won't find much on the world wide web on these guys, but worth celebrating their success story regardless.
