I had a friend who passed last year..I met him in 1980 ..I was 20 he was 32 or 33. I am 6"3 and he was a little person . We met on a job far from home and what I learned was that when ever we went into a store or a restaurant he insisted on staying close to me and he told me that because people would do things to him like you see here and it would scare him. I was shocked by this at 20 years old and I never forgot it . Bob was scared of larger people but he was not scared when he was with me and hes not scared anymore...RIP Bobby.
+baler johnson I believe your friend Bobby is in heaven now. So sorry to hear his sad story. I pray for him and you.
+holeinmybrain0 Thanks he was and still is a great guy . He was 10 feet tall to me .

I think I love her 😍
She is the best
Same
same ☺
Does anyone else think she's cute?
sure do..
That wheelchair lady is the best in my book. With her disability, she still find time of compassion to stand up for another “unfortunate” person. She deserved a gold medal.
*Stand up* LOL!!!!!
Takes a good person to recognize another good person 😉
i agree love how shes like" oh great heres another one 🖕
@@The_Zoupoor,choice of words

"I wanna thank you, for standing up."
Probably not the best word selection for a lady in a wheelchair, huh?
And to ask that dwarf to take all that abuse was quite a tall order.
Seconds earlier: "Why step in? Why should we?"
Shaquille O'Neal as a person who uses a chair we don't find that statement offensive; however it is offesive when someone suggests that it shouldn't be said. you yourself will say " I am runing to the store" yet, you then get into your car. I use terms of walk and run, as well as standing around in normal everyday speech in order to describe what I am doing... so get over it

+demon45ize. I'm telling you people sometimes are immature or too stupid(full of it uuggh😡)
I've noticed a lot that not only in this episode of WWYD, but mostly the people that help and step in are people that also don't have much. They know what's it's like to have to go through such things. They know it's hard.
People born with silver spoons in their mouths just can't understand the hardships people face. They simply can't put themselves in another's shoes.
👏
I don't think it's quite right to judge people's personalities based on their wealth.
True, it's just something I've noticed in these WWYD episodes. I wish that would change however though.
I'm sure there definitely are some poor people that aren't kind hearted and rich people that are. Just an observation about the episodes.
Wasn't it a silver spoon? Lol
+Kole Mist oops lol
Tyrion Lannister would take no shit from no one, not even from the king.
Honestly the man who won the contest, Casey, looks quite a bit like Jaime Lannister (albeit shorter)!!
i love tyrion he's my greatest role model
Peter Dinklage is Literally @2:00 lol

kinnikuchu I agree he smacked him in season 1 3 times during a scene where relatives show up and he refused to go

***** Said no one ever.
This is exploitation, dehumanization, and total abuse. I can’t believe there’s actually people in this world who like to pose with little people, as if it’s a big joke to them. What’s worse is sole shoppers went along with it! That’s disgusting and disturbing.
This happens all the time.
@@sharonbrown3771really? How disgusting
Thanks for the comments. It is truly amazing how people continue to take pictures of Little People all over the world. I've been doing some traveling and it's worse in some places and in some places it's better. My favorite is when people start to FaceTime someone just to show them the Little People they are seeing. I'm usually not sure what to think then. It's really strange.
@@caseyhubelbank Hey brother! Are you the actor in this video? That is so cool. I was raised to respect all people, regardless of how big or little they are, regardless of what health ailments they have. That is very disheartening to hear about those people you endured. Always be proud of who you are. I happen to be on the tall side and was bullied very badly growing up; people will always pick on somebody for something which is very sad and unfortunate. Hope you have a wonderful 2025!
@@TheGreekPianist I'm not the actor, Scott Strausbaugh was. I was the guy who came up with the idea so I'm on at the beginning and the end. They asked me if I wanted to do it, but I said that I didn't, however they wanted to produce it anyway and they got Scott to to the acting part which is hard because you have to stay in character which I would not have been able to do that. The show also took another one of my ideas and produced it and didn't give me credit for it which I don't really care about too much because it brought a big issue to light. (the one with people parking in a handicapped spot that are not supposed to be there) They did a great job producing the show and making my idea come to life. Quinones came to my house in Connecticut from NYC after a snowstorm in a minivan with other crew to tell me they were going to do the show, then because it was too late to go back to NYC, they left my house and went to Foxwoods Casino and stayed there overnight.
My dad saw someone do that, the guy asked him to take a photo of them, and my dad broke his phone! My dad is very protective of everybody
your dad is awsome
+Jazmin Calvo thanks
A little bit too extreme. Give your dad a little advice of wisdom. Be protective is good thing but dont overdo it. Use word instead of body language in any circumstance. Cuz if you dont sooner or later you will hit rock and not only hurt yourself but your family. There are all kinds of people out there. You never know who you running into. Be protective to your family first then other people. If you put your family in any potential dangerous situation. Dont call yourself protective.
Martin Zhou words won't work with animals
Fucking LOVE your dad! 😍❤️
That makes me feel so happy that people are standing up for strangers.
The lady couldn't stand up LOL!!!!!
"I wanna thank you for standing up." I actually laughed at that. It's not a funny situation by any means, but the choice of words to a woman in a wheelchair... I just lost it.
My mom, sister, and nephews are midgets and i was in tears looking at this. It makes me so happy that people like that woman speaks up when these situations like this happens.
He may be small but he has a heart that is taller than anything dealing with this. He deserves respect.
The lady in the chair is amazing I love her
My sister has dwarfism, she measures only 3 feet tall. This brought me to tears because she was bullied and told me stories of everything she went thru! This is sad how individuals have no respect towards anyone these days and that explains the reason to their misery. They are little but their respect and their heart is enormous! I couldn't watch the whole thing it hurts too close to home.
So all we got was ONE woman who really made a stand? How disturbing.
No pun intended eh ?
Right
@@miarangel6800 oh dear god - depending who you say that to you could get into some real trouble- especially in the RUclips comments section
"I wanna thank you for standing up"
Lol, poor choice of words.
This was my thought too. Like, the second he said it he probably was thinking in his head "Oh Jesus Christ what did I just say?!"
As someone who uses a wheelchair often, I would actually disagree. "Standing up" in this context, means defending another person from wrong treatment. It has nothing to do with a person's ability to stand. People with and without wheelchairs use that type of language all the time, and I think it's fine, especially since the speaker in this case is not referring to the lady's physical ability.
@@kaileighrow3654 Thank you for pointing out it wasn't literal!!! Context seems to be lost in this world. This comment is on here 1000 times but they don't seem to understand the implied "Thank you for standing up FOR ME" Sad everything has to be spelled out now.
She stood up with her heart and courage .. I couldn't say confidently that I would have been able to do what she did if I was in her condition
I am also a wheelchair user and have no problem with figures of speech like that.
You do not need to be offended on our behalf with this kind of thing.
But thank you for considering our feelings anyway.
That woman in the wheelchair is so brave. Even though she is in a wheelchair, she stood up for this short person man. It's so sweet of her...I want to reach out and give her a hug too. God bless her and may one day she is able to walk again.
whats up with ppl harassing people shorter than them? Its really messed up and cowardly. thats real shameful
when he asked the wheelchair lady "why STEP in?" I lost it lmao

That lady is queen I am jelly you know her
That behavior is very unprofessional. If those were my employees and I saw this in my workplace, I would fire them with no warning. People who disrespect people and treat them differently because of the way they look should be ashamed
just bcuz someone is short doesn't mean you can call them midget, munchkin, Hobbit, or shorty. So what if they're short? They're still human.
Lily Phạm there needs to be more like you
❤
Yes exactly.
You forgot about dwarfs
I have dwarfisim (Not like him). But if anybody calls me those names there getting there ass beat 🙂
HAHA the last woman was amazing, I loved when she flipped him off. Seriously, who the hell acts like that? That's so rude, mean-spirited, and dehumanizing to do to somebody. I would never treat a little person/dwarf like that, I'd treat them like a HUMAN. Some people are so obnoxious and ignorant.
Treating people who are short is zero tolerated. No one should be treated like this.
As a person with dwarfism, I have encountered some situations like this. Its horrible and this day and age, it shouldn't happen. We are all going through life with our own challenges and we should be more accepting of others. We are just trying to live life, just like everyone else.
Ikr why they do that

My wife used to be in a wheelchair.
She was my wife, and the wheelchair was just a mobile seat.
Wheelchairs are nothing more than a tool.
I'm sorry that happens. My mom is short too but because of a bone disease, and everyone always stares at her and whispers to each other, and it pisses me off and I say a thing or two to them. So just hang in there and stay strong.
@3:25 when the man starts singing" we represent the lollipop guild", i felt guilty myself for laughing.
I have a little sister with dwarfism. I would have lost it, I have seen what she has had to go through. I would have gone off on them. some people see little people like "toys" or " freaks" but, I did a complete project on little people. The ones who are actors on tv and in movies get this to. If you ever see this. Please stand up for the people. Be the hero they need, it will pay off.

josLSx454 7.4 she meant that her YOUNGER sister has dwarfism! and i have dwarfism too! so being called a little person is very acceptional in the LP community!!!
Forcing someone to take a picture with you is illegal, isn't it?
Not in the US. While you can't use force to make someone stand there for a picture, if you are somewhere where you have no reasonable expectation of privacy, you can legally have your picture taken without your permission.
aconformist1 I understand that, but those guys are forcing him to take a picture. It's one thing for them to stand somewhere and snap a picture of him, but they're not. Doesn't this fall under harassment?
kLPantera
They aren't forcing him. For them to force him, he would have to walk away and they would have to physically hold him there against his will for a picture.
***** No you don't. If you'r ein a public place there is no expectation of privacy, anyone can take your picture. If you're not in a public place the most that can happen is you be asked to leave by the landowner or agents of such
***** nonsense. Why do you spout BS as fact? How do you think these embedded cop programs get shown otherwise. Have you never seen one? "He can film what he likes mate, he's in a public place"
Amazing how the one person who cant stand up literally stands tallest figuratively.
"I want to thank you for standing up"
SAVAGE
I wanna see a WWYD video about animal cruelty... like "WWYD if you see someone who's about to hurt an animal".
***** you and me both
When we filmed this episode, I asked about doing an episode about animals. They were afraid someone was really going to go out of control and hurt people physically if they thought an animal was going to be hurt, so they aren't going to do any episodes like that.
Casey Hubelbank That's a shame. I just hate how animals get so much crap from us and not that many people seem to give a damn.
This one was a great video by the way.
Jason there is a subreddit called r/watchpeople die and sooooo many people on that sub just can't handle animal abuse. like they can watch car accidents, murders, suicides and people being blown up but they can't watch any animal cruelty
the animal wouldnt know it was acting going on and then the acting would be actual animal abuse

Thankfully I didn't hear this I would've definitely stepped in. I met a couple with dwarfism in a store, we were in the gloves section and the woman came right up to me asking,"Can I use your height for a sec?" I was happy to help, it doesn't matter what body type you have. You're still a human being.
Snitsky! It's not my fault!
I dont understand the want or need to take a photo with the little person...If their not a known celebrity...And even if they were, you should politely ask permission for a photo op...But just a random unperson to grab, demand or take photo just because their a little/dwarf/midget??? Why??? In a word, RUDE and practically voyeurism.
David Frederick agreed. It's unbelievably rude... i mean how can you even think of taking pics of them

Saying to a woman in a wheelchair, "I want to thank you for standing up".
John Quinones must have wanted to kick himself when he asked the lady "Why step in".
I use a wheelchair often and I'm not sure I see the issue. "Step in" here means intervene. It doesn't call out or make fun of a person's disability.
jeez when the actor started singing the lollipop guild i lost it

I think an amusing way to deal with this situation, since everyone uses their phone as a camera, might be to call their mom. Exit the camera and go to the phone... find "mom", call her and tell her that her son is being a jerk.

Really, really good. We desperately need more people like that woman at the end. Her actions and bravery and boldness brought tears to my eyes, and this is coming from a 25 year old guy. I'd salute her and try to befriend her if I could.

This show is awesome !! This is the first one I've seen. I hope they have more about other forms of hate.. It is at a point past acceptable, everyone hates the next person for whatever they can find wrong with them... It needs to stop, in a world where compassion and tolerance is the most important thing,
Unfortunately taking a photo of someone against their will is not illegal
If it was we wouldn't have political scandals!
It is if you start touching the other person
it is actually. unlawful photography. its hardly ever reported.

And they all take a picture with them in the end, didn't they learn anything!?

This one made me cry, especially with the lady at the end, such a brave lady to step in and go up against someone especially this day and age
"I wanna thank you, for standing up.." ah the irony.
Here's a story that will maybe hopefully make people fully realize how creepy this kind of things is.
I'm from California, and I'm currently going to college in the Midwest. We have a highway running through the school and the school itself is pretty diverse. However, we ultimately are still in the countryside. Thing is: I'm a 5'4" Asian girl. My regular attire is jeans and a school T-shirt because I give no fucks during the busy school year. My hair is almost always in a ponytail, and I don't wear makeup. Apparently, this is strange and wondrous and rare to some people. I would be standing at a bus stop in the middle of winter and some guys would stop their truck to either ask to take pictures or just take the pictures of me drowning in my winter coat. There were two cases where when I'm heading home from dinner and passing the bars, guys stop me and ask if I could pose with their friends.
(PS. Telling a girl that she's "pretty for [your] kind" or that "we don't get a lot of people like you around here" as a reason for pictures does not make it better.)
Please realize that while America is a free country, this is extremely fucking creepy. Just because a person is standing outside, it does not give you permission to THEM. Please don't take photos when they don't want you to.
JadeToniRitsa L I would drown in my coat too. I also live in California and I'm sure I'll stick out in the Midwest as well! Keep up your studies and just smile :)
Your over reacting, you have it good.
JadeToniRitsa L 5'4 is an average height for women? Those people are just creeps
JadeToniRitsa L I am the same way in that I dress casually, the same height as you, and wear no make up. I'm not Asian. I never get harassed. I'm not complaining by the way but I just don't get why people would do that to someone who looks like any other person. It seems to me THEY'RE the strange people, not you.
TLDR
THAT ACTIR IS SAVAGE HE STRAIGHT UP TOOK A PICTURE OF THE WHEELCHAIR LADY 😂😂😂😂😂☠️☠️

That's horrible😔
Little people are people not a sculpture at a museum or a zoo animal that you can just take a picture of.
Calling someone a midget may not seem like it is mean, but it really is. It decreases their confidence of being in public..
What I would do: if I saw someone taller then me and picking on a little person I would say: how would you like it if I came up to you and made fun of you being a giant freak and taking a picture of you? How would that make you feel..? Cause that's exactly what you're doing right now..Offending and taking pictures..how disgusting and disrespectful. Then I would turn to the little person hug them and start a conversation with them while leading them away from the person that was picking on them.
That's beautiful.
I experienced something like this. I was in gym class and we were outside. I was talking to a friend and we get deep into conversation. He's making gestures, I'm resting my chin in my hand (I stayed up late the night before so I was a little tired). Then all the sudden these girls whom I know gossip a lot came up to us and screamed, "OMG THEY'RE DATING!!!!" And they took pictures. And wouldn't leave us alone afterwards. GRRR.
This was so touching knowing that, that woman is in a wheel chair and they are bigger and stronger and hat woman did the right thing and it made me cry if joy
