I saw this concert about 7 years ago with a friend of mine who passed away this last weekend and forever all these songs will be remind me of him; most of all this one. In the end when we're all together again. Til then we'll all miss the hell out of you. RIP
Song brings back good memories of college days. Beer pong, women, beer, and oar blasting in the back ground. cant believe they never got the publicity the deserved.
I'm just hearing about this band today. I'm a busker and everyone in the subway today (below MSG) was talking about OAR. I never even heard of these guys, never heard this song on the radio. How did they get so popular?
I was at this show! I was near Holmdel for a missions trip and a bunch of us decided to go to it cause our host home at tickets, it was so beyond sweet!
been contemplating for several years on getting ' In the end my friend, we will all be together again...' tattooed on my body. Those lyrics have resonated in my life so many times. thank you OAR.
Saw OAR open up for 311 at the Target center in Minneapolis years ago... Have loved them ever since... they were so good live, it was amazing and I will never forget it!
Dude, the sax player isn't good, he's phenomenal. I listen to people play their respective instruments all day every day, and I've yet to see somebody with as good of a combination of talent and love for the art as he has.
i got the chills when he said, "can we be united tonight just as people" i love oar they are the only band that can give me the chills, now i know what bob marley was talking about when he said "one good thing about music is when it its you, you feel no pain", I JUST GOT HIT HARD!
@pronate22 I was at that show as well...What an amazing venue, and the show was phenomenal...Was not a big O.A.R. fan before that, but I'll definitely check them out again.
I love this song! I saw O.A.R. live at the Byron Bay Blues Festival in Australia, and thought they were fantastic. Unfortunately, I can't find their albums in any stores locally.
@modestomorgasm I saw O.A.R. live at Red Rocks 2 nights ago. You are correct. The sax literally blew me away. It must take a great set lungs to perform the way he does night after night.
omg this song rocks if i was at this concert i would have been another guy to run up on the freaking stage... this band kicks ass its nice to see that not all 14 year olds are listening to rap... right?
god this is a great song. oar was one of the bands that reminds me the most of high school and all my buddies i dont get to see anymore. too bad oar had to go and sellout and now sounds like any other pop rock band. cryin shame
And also, Jerry DePizzo, the sax guy is unreal not just because he's good at sax, dudes mainly freestyling... and he somehow smokes a pack a day on top of it. He's a freak of nature.
There was a band that played this at a variety show at our high school a few nights ago, the sax player sounded just as good if not better. Maybe because he had a custom z, but he was good.
No comparing to Dave, if you try your crazy they are so good in their own way. Better than most of the American Idol dorks now .... Back when bands had to try and make it in real life. Remember those days
yeah he lost it there at the end of his 2 min solo, but DAMN it was a good solo. i've heard lots of dif versions of this song and this is by far my fav.
i completely agree with barton it is hard to improvise and make the music flow and i happen to be in the top 5 in my state for what i do so yes i think improv is very hard
these guys sound tighter live than on cd lol.voice is more rawer on cd. more rounded live....i like the rawness of it on the cd.....but jesis these guys are good....is maith liom from ireland!
This song's opening line is my quote for my yearbook. O.A.R. is truly a revolutionary band, it's a shame to see them go down the pop over synthesized crap road. This is music people, listen up. If you like O.A.R. check out Umphrey's McGee, they are awesome. Oh and Dispatch and State Radio (Dispatch separated a while ago.)
agree with brutisgray03. most people dont even know who they are and many only see o.a.r. playing shattered and this town. their good songs but all sides is not what o.a.r. is about. theyre the most skilled band around now a days, too bad theyre not more known
This was one of best nights of my life. So much!!!!!🎉
First comment in 3 years... My dad would play this song in his truck when i was a kid, god I wish I could go back to those times...

I rarely say best [something] ever, but I will say the sax is the best instrumental solo I've ever seen. I've seen thousands.

Best version of this song hands down soooo good

They make great music... That's how they got popular
I was at this show! I was near Holmdel for a missions trip and a bunch of us decided to go to it cause our host home at tickets, it was so beyond sweet!
Forever in our memory - a great sax'er - a great person

Cranking this song ...having a few beers.....doesn't get much better...
been contemplating for several years on getting ' In the end my friend, we will all be together again...' tattooed on my body. Those lyrics have resonated in my life so many times. thank you OAR.

God. Marc is such an amazing scatman.
Everything OAR puts out is so full of soul and passion, nothing is artificial.
First O.A.R. song I ever heard 5 years ago. :)
Saw OAR open up for 311 at the Target center in Minneapolis years ago... Have loved them ever since... they were so good live, it was amazing and I will never forget it!

Saw O.A.R. at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz. Best show I've seen in at least a decade. And my new fave band for sure.

I been looking all over for this group this is great
@pronate22 I was at that show as well...What an amazing venue, and the show was phenomenal...Was not a big O.A.R. fan before that, but I'll definitely check them out again.

I love this song! I saw O.A.R. live at the Byron Bay Blues Festival in Australia, and thought they were fantastic. Unfortunately, I can't find their albums in any stores locally.

I absolutely love this song! =D
cant wait im going to see them live next month great band!!!
@psnTurok35 O.A.R. is a jam band. They're kinda alternative, kinda indie, a slight reggae feel... they're just who they are, which is amazing.
this video should be titled "Jerry DePizzo's Sax Solo Drives Fans to Rush the Stage"
jerry jerry jerry jerry
love this awesome song
This should be played at an extremely high volume.
All they need is like 10 more hits and they can make it into thr Rock & Roll HALL OF FAME !!!
god this is a great song. oar was one of the bands that reminds me the most of high school and all my buddies i dont get to see anymore. too bad oar had to go and sellout and now sounds like any other pop rock band. cryin shame

i went to this concert last night and woke up in a freakin bush at red rocks
man the sax makes them so tight.
Awsome band.. even better live!
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the sax solo in Hey girl "same version" kills this one
but the beat boxxing scat shit he does in the middle is pretty crazy
And also, Jerry DePizzo, the sax guy is unreal not just because he's good at sax, dudes mainly freestyling... and he somehow smokes a pack a day on top of it. He's a freak of nature.
ok they are amazing!
Both of em at the Gorge...YOU are one lucky guy!!!!
this is like a damn good band!!
This is their best song, the only one I like
There was a band that played this at a variety show at our high school a few nights ago, the sax player sounded just as good if not better. Maybe because he had a custom z, but he was good.
Im a student at Lock Haven University and they are playin here tonight

AMAZING
i love the harmony at 1:43
No comparing to Dave, if you try your crazy they are so good in their own way. Better than most of the American Idol dorks now .... Back when bands had to try and make it in real life. Remember those days
i didnt read what the guy said about dave but im going with Dave and saying dave will rock anyone!!!
Seen em twice live, AWESOME fucking shows! DMB level shit all day long.
It's only bands like O.A.R and EARTH CULTURE that really kick ass

yeah he lost it there at the end of his 2 min solo, but DAMN it was a good solo. i've heard lots of dif versions of this song and this is by far my fav.
my first concert ever fuckin sick
i like how the main singer will go from being bored as hell when he sings, to extremely passionate ahaha
i completely agree with barton it is hard to improvise and make the music flow and i happen to be in the top 5 in my state for what i do so yes i think improv is very hard
ROCK ON OAR
i agree with you that the two sounds r different, but DMB is still a great band. these two r probably my favorite bands eva
in the end, my friend, we will all be together again.

ive not heard much of their songs, but of what ive heard they are pretty fucking tight
WORD I WAS THERE.

Damn straight man.
these guys sound tighter live than on cd lol.voice is more rawer on cd. more rounded live....i like the rawness of it on the cd.....but jesis these guys are good....is maith liom from ireland!

@smitter2271
They're at SPAC in early August.
he messed up a little bit, but he is an amazing sax player and still kicks ass, great song
@letshakehands The Sax gives the band a classy touch.
