This song will not ... CANNOT ... EVER get old! It is absolutely inspiring, grooving, and just perfect! Lets take it to the City on Down!!!!!!!!! YEAH!
Awesome, version of City On Down!! I originally fell in love with Any Time Now's live version, then came around to their studio version for it's "raw, ambient" sound, and now (yeah I know it's over 4 years) but it goes to show OAR has that amazing ability and sound to surprise me even 4+ years later with a version of a song I love, that I've yet to hear..Saw them last summer @ spac and they still put on a great live performance, even their new more "radio friendly" music sounds amazing live..
@3Jacks2nines its sad the amount of people who dont know their best songs came off their early albums and when I go to their shows now no one knows the words to the early stuff which is depressing for me and I'm sure them too
hey if you ever find out, please send me it ahah. ive been looking like crazy. that and the solo and stuff for Money by Pink Floyd and such. i need something to mess around with
Everyone is expected to have an opinion. To be fair, Jerry was not introduced into the band until after thier first album and they were in college. Jerry plays something like 10 instruments. So, if he wants to venture out of just playing the sax, I say let the man go for it. I love his sax playing, but I would never say he should only stick to that! They have been playing since 96, and if they don't evolve thier sound & do what makes them happy, they would not be OAR.
@dudeitstimmy2 Actually, REAL O.A.R. fans know that all of their songs are freaking amazing. Whether or not shattered is best is up to your personal opinion. However, if you were a real O.A.R. fan like you say you are, you wouldn't be criticizing one of their songs just because it's popular.
Well, in their defense, Shattered is a really good song. Heck, it's O.A.R. all of their songs are good. It just so happens that the number of "really"'s that you put in front of the word "good" increases proportionally with the age of the song. lol. My opinion anyway :)

Damn, I love them! Saw them in Nashville.... about a year ago!
