What you heard at the end was decades of practicing "do re mi fa so ..." in every possible frequency. He belongs to a family that teaches music of the highest order and imagine a training regime similar to what you think the Shaolin Monks do ... each note and frequency is practiced for hours repeatedly till its perfected and then they learn rhythms that jump between these notes and pitches that are very challenging. Decades and decades of practice makes a ustad or a Master.
"Ustad" rahat fateh ali khan Term ustad literally means GRANDMASTER.....his family Has been full of GRANDMASTERS for past 600 YEARS so yeah he is pretty good..and has a great knowledge of the musical art
Greetings from Pakistan. This is the most unique reaction that I have ever witnessed. Brilliant reactions to this Coke studio classic. I would recommend Rang by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Amjad Sabri from Coke Studio Season 9 as the next one to react to. It would indeed be a great pleasure watching it on this unique channel. Regards
its called Raag and the singing style is called Qawwali. The singer is the student and nephew of the late Ustaad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, who was the Maestro in this style. Qawwali: done with a Tabla and a Harmonium tradionally, and songs can last from 5 minutes to an hour. The Singer is accompannied by his whole entourage of backup singers and theres lot of back and forth between the main singer and the others. They are always sitting while performing. There are a lot of Qawwalis of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan on youtube you can check them out. (production qualities are fortunately not that good, but his voice will take you to heavens) as for Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, check out his performance at Noble peace prize concert.. he sang a Medley of multiple qawallis there in traditional style.
this is called Aalaap of Raag there are 7 notes like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dhs Ni all raags are made up whith these 7 Notes in Subcontinental classical music.
If you liked this song of rahat fateh ali khan you have to listen to Chaap Tilak. Please make a reaction on Chaap Tilak - Rahat fateh ali khan and Abida Parveez

If you love this, you should listen to Nusrat fateh ali khan his uncle who train him.
The 'scat' follows notes. He is actually 'singing' the notes
Sa is C
Re is D
Ga is E
Ma is F
Pa is G
Dha is A
Ni is B
and Sa again is C.
More like Sa is "Doh", not necessarily C.
man has a rich voice and talented to do the guitar playing while singing and doing that incredible scat singing
Yep! So glad you enjoyed! 🤗
Another great Maggie reaction love it!
Thank you so much 🤗
