The infinity symbol is THE mothership. From the mothership album. Their videos all have themes. The DeLorean was from the robot with the human hair videos, they have a mix of animated videos and live videos. Its a lot of fun. They're doing the same with this new album too, the videos are going to tell a story as well. ^^
@@davidpwolfe I love that they like doing the story telling in their videos and albulm art. It ties everything together. And they use the same artist to do all their stuff, think its a sweedish guy? I Think it's cool and creative they're telling mini stories with their musci videos. Makes it fun to follow.
Thanks for being honest! If you're interested in hearing a heavier song from them, Man of the Year is very good. I would actually recommend checking out their tree city sessions 2 live version where they are on a bridge. It's very close to studio quality.
If you ever want to go through their history, I would suggest some of these songs! Lemon Meringue Tie, It's safe to say you dig the back seat, Privilously Poncheezied (All Jonny Craig and Jon Mess) Uneasy Hearts Weigh the Most, Me and Zoloft Get Along Just Fine, Tree Village (All Kurt Travis, screams in Tree Village were from Will Swan if I'm not mistaken, others are Jon Mess) Strawberry Swisher pt.3, Death of a Strawberry, Betrayed by the Game, Evaporate, Suspended in This Disaster, Nothing Shameful (all Tilian and Jon Mess)
Man Of The Year, We Own The Night, Nothing Shameful, On The Run, Lemon Merengue Tie, and Carl Barker are all good songs to check out. The last 2 have different last singers.
the great thing about the dance gavin dance music videos is that they are usually part of an ongoing story. the robot with human hair saga, has young robot, god stroke millionare, death of the robot with human hair, midnight crusade, this song. and you can put them all together once you watch them all. there are even some non canon mvs from the past that made a brief appearance
Inspire the Liars is one of my favorite songs on mothership album, next you should check out the first song on this album "Chucky vs Giant Tortoise". Glad you can enjoy their song 👍
Their old stuff is good and all, but Tilian brings the band to a new level. I find there's no issue with being a DGD fan and only listening to anything post-Tilian. Especially because the entire band has gotten a better with the years too. Count Bassy is a great song, and showcases Tim Feerick quite a bit - who I think is so underrated in his contribution to their insane tight synergy and groove. He really laid down the bass perfectly for every single song. Also under-reacted songs like "Giant Tortoise" and "Parody Catharsis" and "Deception" and "Young Robot". "Here Comes the Winner" is a song a lot of people love, and "Nothing Shameful" features maybe the best vocal feature I have ever heard in any genre.
Agreeing with this. You also get to hear vocals from Andrew Wells who recently became a member. Andrew also kills it in Nothing Shameful. Both songs are on the set list for their live session on the bridge.
Their bassist just passed away, RIP Tim Feerick
🖤❤️🖤❤️

Great video, and Rest In Peace Tim Feerick!
Jon and Tilian’s vocals go together like pb&j, the perfect combo
That’s awesome! Props to you for not faking it man 👍🏽
R.I.P. Tim

I do like me some heavy! Thanks for the rec
@@davidpwolfe you should check out the studio before and live and compare the two, they're both great in their own ways
Rest In Peace to there bassist Tim Freerick
They are on a bridge in Sacramento, their hometown! Also my hometown! ♡

YES!!! MORE!!! Love these reactions. Man of the Year (tree city sessions 2) should be your next song. It’s a live version and incredible
Sounds like fun! Thanks for suggesting it!
Hairsong is an actual banger though. RIP Tim. You're a legend
Jon mess just keeps getting better and better

Check out Man of the Year, We Own The Night, or Son of a Robot. They're some of my favorites from DGD

Evaporate, hands down. It's a whole experience. As are most of their songs.
Agreeing with this. You also get to hear vocals from Andrew Wells who recently became a member. Andrew also kills it in Nothing Shameful. Both songs are on the set list for their live session on the bridge.
Do Man of the Year next!
Can we just make it a rule if anyone recommends DGD to start with the first album
Rip bassist
